Id actually disagree, but I am of course bias. The majority of deals/trades need no intervention. Id be interested in hearing what you consider to be a unique transaction vs a mindless one as most fall into the category of goods or services.

The site is legitimate AFAIK, but I still prefer to use escrow through a forum member that I trust over any semi-automated website. I like working with real humans, and I am willing to pay extra just for that, but it's all just up to your preference in the end. The site seems pretty decent with its small 1% fee, though, and I may actually try it out in the future just to see how well it works.

Yup. Every need for escrow is unique and more than likely needs communication and tailoring. I'd consider it for something mindless but not if there's a realistic prospect of things getting messy.

i want to use escrowmybits.com for my safety..the main point escrowmybits.com is legit?

It's being running for a few years and the owner of the site (see member above) is trusted so I would say yes. Still, If you're going to trade with individuals in the forums, you can always use escrows from here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/list-bitcointalks-escrow-providers-ranking-blacklist-avoid-scam-276897

do check ur pm me wana use ur website service with secure way

Good day I made a transaction on you website yesterday 12/01/2018 and discovered to day 13/01/2018 that the transaction has been cancelled. Details that transpired when i made the transaction are below:

Due to plunge in bitcoin the price of the bitcoin has changed from 0.025 to 0.018666 and that is what i sent making a sum of $253. Once the deal goes through the escrow will remit you the money, i look forward for a successful deal and i promise you that better days are ahead once the deals becomes successful.

Hey Omrex, what ended up happening with your escrowmybits transaction? Have you done anymore? I might use their site depending on what you tell me. I have buyers and sellers with tons of bitcoin/money and need a legit escrow service...

His transaction was eventually resolved, but because he publicly disclosed his secret key it took a significantly longer then normal and required responding to multiple security questions. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to contact our support team so they can assist you.

Yes it is still around and working well. We have been doing occasional updates on our blog, but are working hard on doing a rewrite and adding in tether support

Will give it a try someday and will update you guys how it was.
By the way I didn't even found a FAQs page on your website to find the detailed breakdown of your fees for escrow

We have a faq here, https://escrowmybits.freshdesk.com/solution/folders/6000128499 and it is directly linked on our site

As for our fee breakdown, we charge a flat 1% fee on all escrow transactions

Just posting here to say I do own escrowmybits.com as can probably be seen via my signature  Cool

Yes we can but we can't see any updates on your announcement thread since September 2014 : https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/escrowmybitscom-new-escrow-website-now-live-signup-for-beta-786235
Nor seen any positive reviews by any
Is it still working well ?

It might be legit, but I would have to trust the forum escrows here more. Some of them even charge 0 fees! That's a great advantage for you, IMO.

Yes, I know but I would be using this service for a service that has nothing to do with this forum and the person is giving me the choice of using this particular escrow.

It is often good to know who is holding your escrow funds, the website look legit but when the site owner info could not be verified unlike the people here, I guess anything can happen.

The website is still under development. What we can view is the beta version AFAIK.I won't recommend to just trade it there yet.The website looks quite legit but haven't found there reviews on any of the bitcoin panel websites.I hope they do some legit work of es-crowing as we're in much need of that.

As far as I know , it's legit however I don't really know if you can get scammed or not and how exactly it works .
Usually , users prefer to use individuals as escrows from the Bitcointalk forums instead of a third party website to make sure everything will goes OK .

Thanks!
I heard the owner is a reputable member of this forum, but I couldn't find any info on that.

Yes , according to this : https://www.reddit.com/r/BitMarket/wiki/escrow , the owner of Escrowmybits is this : https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/starsoccer9-54489

thanks a lot for all the help mate!

Hey guys,

is escrowmybits.com legit?
anyone had experience with it?

link https://escrowmybits.com/index.php

and yes I know I can use forum escrows, but that's not the topic of this thread.

Would really like to know about this escrow.

Is there a possibility that I can get scammed, since you can input your preferred "judge" in case of a dispute.

Thanks!
