If it gets out into the world could be a good one because of good devs, good community and actual real-world use.

That's basically not what they want. They just want a crypto currency for use in their forums. For example to buy guides, programs or everything else. It should have a value only inside HF so far. Currently the diff rises rapidly and the price is around 1$:10 OMC. But the problem with a coin only used by a few people is getting a good exchange running without it attracting many other people.

Anyone looked at Omnicoin? www.hackforums.net has created their own internal crypto-currency with their own pools, plans fpr their own exchange and a very active internal marketplace.  I think they re-released it.  Anyone can mine it and I guess make pools, etc. because it is a pretty standard altcoin just not publicized anywhere.

Full disclosure: I'm mining it now just in-case something happens with it.  I can't even buy/sell them because their forum doesn't let noobs post on their marketplace or send PMs to members.  Waiting to see if they set up an exchange and if they'll let outsiders trade on it.

They're keeping it tight and the reddit/bitcointalk forums are basically stubs.  If it gets out into the world could be a good one because of good devs, good community and actual real-world use.  The community is very helpful to members just getting into mining, kind of like Dogecoin but for serious computer people.
