He got a job with a major bank, building a trade bot. Think they advised him to back off from the bitcoin thing.
Looking at the other thread, I think it's more a matter of him being too busy with his dayjob handling fiat to spend time on bitcoin projects. It seems the project was OK with his contract, and he even took legal advice to check on it.

Hey isis,

I am a graphic designer and web designer and I have a degree in graphic design/advertising. My rates are the equivalent of $14.00/hr in bitcoin (with the crazy fluctuation lately it makes it hard to state price in btc). Please check out my signature to see some of my work and if you're interested please let me know. I am available most days in the next 6 months since I work from home as a freelance graphic/web designer currently.

A degree in graphic design?  Never heard of that before.  Do you mean a diploma?

Yep. My degree is in graphic design and advertising. I have a second degree in studio art as well, though not as useful it was only a few more classes for a degree in both fields.

I just checked it out.  Wow, times really have changed since I went to university!

So I'm guessing his business venture never took off then.

It's a shame it looked like a pretty awesome project  Angry

Hi! Web and associated technologies developer here (Python, PHP, HTML, CSS, JS...). Can do front-end and backend, but most interested in getting my fingers dirty at the interface of the Bitcoin network and the IRL payment network. Have 20 hrs/wk avail through April and then 30/wk through June, followed by FT availability after June. 3 B/hr is desired salary, but that's negotiable depending on how cool the systems you want me to write code for are Smiley

If there's Bitcoin involved, I'm definitely interested, I've been practising artwork for about 2 years now and I've linked my photobucket account here where I put all my artwork, even the stuff I haven't finished etc. anything basic involving a computer I can do such as copy typing/writing is very easy for me.

I would love to work for your organisation (if you are still looking?). I googled you but could not find too much information so I am guessing you still need a website and blog?

The parts of my skillset that I believe are relevant include:

- Web all rounder (web design / online marketing / social media / blogs / content writing)
- Research and report writing (including copywriting) - I independently researched and wrote a 15 000 word thesis for my honors which I received a First Class for.
- A passion for emerging technologies like cryptocurrencies and for having them leak into the "real world" through projects such as the Open Payment Alliance
- A belief that cryptocurrencies will ultimately have social, cultural and financial effects of a similar scale to those which came about from the emergence of the Internet itself as a disruptive technology.

I could 20 hours a week or so for the next 6 months no problem. I could do this for 150 bitcoins per month.

I will send you a PM with much more information in a traditional job application letter format - I am really excited about the possibility of working with you.

I am a java developer with over 15 years of experience including network/IT and project management experience as well.

I have been looking to expand my abilities into the Bitcoin realm and would be willing to take extra hours outside of work now that I am wrapping up my Master's degree in IT management.

Put me in as available for 10-20 hours per week at a rate of 4BTC/hour.

I've finally secured some financial backing for OpenPay and the Open Payment Alliance is in the process of forming.
What is the difference between Open Payment Alliance and Open Transaction Alliance?

I'm a webdeveloper(php, perl, javascript, HTML5 etc..), I have a lot of linux administration, and cisco administration experience. A little bit of windows administration. And a tiny bit of embedded systems programming. Mostly, just web development. I'm open for the next 6 months, I've been freelancing and currently that isn't taking up hardly any of my time.  If I was working full time I'd need like 266BTC a month. Or I can price out individual features, or sites/projects, by the hour for 2 BTC an hour. Maybe a little less.

I've finally secured some financial backing for OpenPay and the Open Payment Alliance is in the process of forming.

The Open Payment Alliance is an international organization, structured as a non-profit entity tasked with the job of designing, implementing and maintaining the OpenPay protocol.
The purpose of the OpenPay protocol and its related bits and pieces, is to allow the spending of cryptographic currencies here in the real world.

There are many things we need to do and
We are going to need help, lots and lots of help.

I'm not going to try and list everything we need, but if you're currently looking for a job send a list of skills you have, what your availability is for the next 6 months or so and your salary requirements in BTC.

If selected to join the alliance you will be paid in BTC, or your prefered cryptocoin.  For legal reasons we will not be paying in local fiat.

The list of skills we need to bring to the table is immense and includes, web developers, artists, project managers, copywriters/translators, business people, lawyers (in most countries a notary), embedded developers, you name it we probably need it.

Feel free to post your interest here, however do not post personally identifying information.  You will be contacted via PM if your skillsets are something we can use.
