I'll be monitoring this thread.  I play Pathfinder weekly with a group of friends, but would be interested in another game if it didn't conflict with life's responsibilities too much.  My preference would be Pathfinder or 3.5.  I probably won't be interested if you decide to run a 4e game.

Ew. 4e. I'm a Pathfinder ("fork" from 3.5) guy, myself.

I started out on 3.5. I haven't heard of Pathfinder though, I may download that next.

Strongly suggested. 4e turns D&D into WoW. Pathfinder fixes a few problems, and cleans up the systems of 3.5, plus gives it a new setting, Golarion.

Well, considering I prefer creating my own storyline, and only use the monster manual for a bestiary. And the character guide for an item/spell reference. Or I might just combine the two, picking and choosing.

I played it for four years, every Sunday with a group of friends; then Uni got in the way.
It would be great o have a game run via a forum- slow, yes, but would not need so much time devoted to it.

True. But we could also do Skype. Or an AJAX Chat based implementation. If I'm really desperate for cash, I might allow people to buy gold with Bitcoin Wink Haha, but for now, I'll just work on setting it up. I'm getting the DND core set 4th edition books as we speak.

I have Bargle as one of the ID's on my phone. He and I and a handful of friends briefly played in '83 in my uncle's basement.

Just wondering. I was thinking about maybe doing a pay-to-play D&D game, or I might just do it for fun. In fact, this thread might turn into a D&D game eventually, anyways, what you say?
