"all crypto community and movement just evacuating coins to ASIC resistant new generation."

So you are saying the new scrypt asic miners won't be able to mine many of the coins gpu miners can?

Yeah it's quite a confusing sentence! But it is referring to Scrypt adaptive-N-factor (Vertcoin), Scrypt-Jane (Ultracoin, YACoin, etc.), Darkcoin, none of which have any prospect of compatible ASICs coming out anytime soon. Already these are the most profitable to mine.

Vertcoin is my personal favorite, because the schedule that controls memory requirements (the so-called N factor) should keep GPUs in the game for the foreseeable future. The Scrypt-Jane coins have a weird schedule where it starts out GPU and then after a while becomes exclusive to CPUs (see http://www.holynerdvana.com/2014/02/everything-you-wanted-to-know-about.html).  Darkcoin's algorithm doesn't change over time, but it combines 11 hash functions so making an ASIC would be a major PITA.

Didn't order yet.

I wanted to know first if they would take my money (pre-order), then build the ASIC's, then mine the crap out of them, delay the delivery of the machine to me, mine some more until the DIFF gets high enough where the machine isn't profitable anymore AND THEN send me the machine.

If they deviate from the other ASIC manufacturers, maybe, just maybe I'll entertain the idea of ordering from them.

For anyone who missed what I'm trying to convey here ---- I'm being sarcastic. No I have no intentions of ordering an ASIC.

all crypto community and movement just evacuating coins to ASIC resistant new generation. Enjoy mining 100 doge per month with ASICs. And fighting at coinwarz where only already dumped coins appear. Old scrypt coins are slowly dying, there is no demand for so many gigahashes now nor after the asic official release. There will maybe few strong scrypt coins however they dont need hundreds and thousands gigahashes of hashing power. Same like bitcoin, there are many petahashes of mining power which never get any return of investment.

Seems like a huge risk, esp buying for inflated prices on 1st batch off Ebay. MAYBE they will be here in a few months, but what will the crypto scene look like then? Doge's 100 billion will already be mined out, and everything else is looking like crap profit wise right now. Since Doge halved, coin shifting pools like Middlecoin profits have gone to less than half what they were.
