I used to play Travian years ago, I have got good memories of those game sessions
Same mate. I used to play Travian too. I love the laid back feels of building your city, gathering materials, forming and training your armies and raiding nearby settlements. It's quite stressful too when someone much stronger than you raided your city while you are asleep.

have been enjoying playing this, curious if anyone else around here enjoys this genre, ...

The first game of this type I played was OGame. Does anyone remember that one? I wonder if there are any more active players.
There is nothing better than the feeling when you build a sensor phalanx on the moon.  Cheesy
I've never played the game but if it's one of the ealiest.

Last two years ago I think, IIRC, I've played an MMORPG ragnarok game but it was already closed. I had fun with that and if there are developers out there.

They should see the browser style gaming must be part of the next trend in the future with any game.

you can get a return on it but you have to trade your currency to a site called d2jsp, buy osrs with it, then sell that for $$$

have been enjoying playing this, curious if anyone else around here enjoys this genre, you basically earn money, reinvest into your character, progress etc. pretty fun. nice to just see numbers go up and play a game where i dont have to babysit it nonstop.

This looks pretty cool, I haven't played it yet though. Do you spend a lot of real money on that game? Browser games are quite fun because they are usually more long term. My favourite browser game is Travian, I played it many years. You need to build cities, capture artifacts and fight each other.
Playing online is cool but spending too much money and no return at all? i think that is a NO NO>

I use to be an online gamer back then and i tell you, as long as there is a profit while enjoying the game thats better but if not? then best to quit and find something that profitable.

I dont personally, but theres plenty of people that do. You can play f2p pretty easily if you'd like, but the things you can buy for premium currency are all pretty reasonably costed and you can purchase with in game currency off the market from other players. There's pvp, a kingdom map, a village map etc to fight with other players on. They also accept bitcoin and eth i believe :p

That is what I do when I can't think of any game to play. I usually go to those websites that offers FPS games through browser so that it saves me time in downloading.

And when I'm done and I don't feel like to play it again, I don't revisit them. That's what I like in browser games.

this is less visual than stuff like that, more of the text based/incremental genre but with multiplayer.
