I've been told that as of Jan 1 any BTC selling businesses in Canada need a special license.
I've googled, and have seen nothing on the news site's.

Can anyone point this out to me? Or am I basically being lied to?

Thanks

I have not seen anything yet.

OP is basically a liar.   Undecided

Well I'm actually asking a question in to response to something I was told, not making a statement.
So I'm unsure why that give's you reason or cause to call me a liar?

but for the others, thank you. I've also heard from BAC and no one knows of such legislation.
So I was lied to by this person. Thanks for Clarifying.
As for the site, I've been unable to find anything anywhere as of yet.

Loose lips sink sigs!
Go to Canada's Federal trade organization or department of commerce website and look for the regulations on licensing and foreign currency use.
