Hey all,

i like magi as my older devices can handle the mining. However i do not see much trading activity. Hoping to get some insights here. Is my observation right? Last thing i want is to have 1000 coins but no one to sell to. lol

If indeed, do you have an alternative to recommend? devices with older cpu is my priority.

appreciate.

I know magi as it was one of the old coins where few coins did came to the community. There was a significant people following these small coins and mining but as the time passed, people realized there's not much to gain with these small coins as new generation coins and tokens came to the market. Magi along with hundreds of similar mining coins now lie dead as a memory.  I don't think it would ever had a successful rejuvenation.

It appeared in 2014 when half of the current investors and traders did not know about Bitcoin even. Nevertheless, Magi did not manage to show itself as the token, which can really bring any profit. There is no one reason to let this altcoin grow. In my opinion, the holders of this cryptocurrency should better choose another crypto and exchange XMG for it.

You can always miner Monero with CPU. After September protocol upgrade Monero will bet even more CPU friendly. There will always be people buying Monero

I don't think there is any need to mine this coin because from what I can see from the coinmarketcap statistics, this coin is worthless and has no single volume on any exchange, making it impossible to buy or even sell the coin after you were able to mine it.

I think you should make sure to check the stat of a coin before trying to setup a mine for it because you might just end up wasting your electricity without making profit.

This is one of the oldest coin and it's trading activity is very low. Who knows if some whales pump this coin? I've checked the buy orders and it seems very low so there's no way for you to sell it.
How about this tutorial? CPU mining guide & coins that will get you a return
