AngryChicken on Youtube got 11 cards 325 MH/s on a Asus Prime Z270-A using two of the expansion risers and two M.2 to PCI-E converters. He says he could only get two of the three 1x slots to work at a time, using three would cause a crash. From what i've heard they only work with AMD cards.

I got a 1x -> 4 slot 1x one. Its a bit touchy, can't flash bios in those slots(computer just freezes) and sometimes not all cards show up so you have to reboot a couple times but once you get all the cards to show up, there's no problem mining for weeks and weeks. Until you have to restart the computer that is.

Personally I found the experience too annoying so I'm not getting any more of those but if you can get them working right all the time, they would definitely be worth it.

I am looking to buy one to extend my Gigabyte Z97 gaming from 4 cards which it supports naturally to bring it to six with an adapter like this one. I have found it in ebay here is the link

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Excellent-PCI-E-1X-1-to-3-Ports-Expansion-Kit-Switch-Multiplier-Hub-Riser-Card-/362021583090?epid=0&hash=item544a2af8f2:g:6X4AAOSwgv5ZUkQZ

Anyone has experience with it, works well or it has problems ? I would love to know if these are worth or not.
