I can confirm LakeBTC is a SCAM.

Actually their practices, lack of information, misleading information, lies on all Rewiews websites actually written by them, everything is a big lie.

Fiat withdrawals are practically impossible.
LakeBTC claims they externalised d/w as peer to peer between users but the truth is that this system is not working and completely stuck.

They claim they give 'LakeBanker' priviledges to any trustfull/verified users upon request, but they do not mention anywhere the number of active LakeBankers, they actually put some difficult conditions to become and remain a LakeBanker.

They only care to charge the activation tax and don't care if there are enough LakeBankers to keep the system working.
This result of this is the fact that there are just a handfull of them and they are not helping anyone because 99% of normal users just want to withdraw fiat and tat is just impossible and not fezable.

Furthermore, all the story about how big the exchange is and how trustfull, it's just a big lie.
I have so many arguments that would fill 3 forum pages

Unlucky me, I have realised all these only after I end up with a 5 digit fiat amount on their platform that it's virtually impossible to take it out from there since months

Some other thoughts here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.20614321

When I will have time I'll open a new Scam thread and explain everything I dig and found about them.

I eventually gave up waiting for my withdrawal request to be accepted. So its impossible to get your money out in reasonable timeframe. Their support is also non-responsive. Cost me about 500eur to cash out elswhere  (fee+lower btc price on other exchanges), but better to cut some losses and have all my funds in a liquid exchange.

Please share your experiences.

yes!!!! big warning! LakeBTC is now having withdrawal problem.

also i think the reason why the exchange prices there are high so attract people to sell there is exactly because of this withdrawal problem.

their system is quite wired. no clear fees structure.... better stay away

Hi.I tried it. First time it went smoothly. Got my funds within few days. Always using SEPA withdrawal. Fees are quite high, never found out how they are determined, and are constantly changing.
Second time waited a bit longer. Got my funds within a week, but some of my money missing. If that is the case, don't confirm money received. I wrote LakeBTC and they contacted "LakeBanker", and he transfered the difference with second transaction.
Now I'm trying to get my funds for the 3rd time. Withdrawal is pending already few days. No one seems to be willing to touch the request, eventhough fees are high ( I assume they go to LakeBankers).
So far I'm having mixed feelings about the whole thing. Its terribly slow process, expensive, and you don't get proper service for the money that you pay through the fee.  As soon as I get my money(if), I think I'll take it elsewhere. Second option is buying BTC and transfering them somewhere else where withdrawing is simpler... Any other thoughts?
