If you're using GDAX - use Medved Trader (www.medvedtrader.com) to connect it GDAX and trade - directly from chart or from DOM, open multiple trade tickets, set up scans, alerts, customized technical indicators etc.

This kind of software is common for traders in regular markets, but is severely lacking for crypto trading. Using this software crypto traders can utilize the same methods to trade that Forex traders can (since crypto is basically Forex).

You can also connect it to Poloniex and Bitfinex for data (not trading)

Full integration with other exchanges is coming shortly.

It doesn't cost anything to try - go to www.medvedtrader.com, register, download the software and run it.

Yes, as I wrote, I'm already on Bitstamp. It's fine & fast (I'm missing history of my trading in the chart, but GDAX doesn't look more advanced anyway), only problem is 0.5% fees to get in & out, that's rather high for anything that's not a long investment.
At the moment if I sell/buy back one BTC to earn 100eur.. 30eur goes to Bitstamp Sad
I believe Bitstamp required a random bank or VISA bill, that was easy. And I think Kraken only required the ID.

I'll try GDAX again and hope that whichever underpaid foreigner checks my passport won't notice it expired in 2013 this time..
It's for the no-fees that I wanna get into GDAX, but it also appears that it's the only "easy" hope for an european to get into B2X (I'll probably sell before anyway. And it's not like Kraken or Bitstamp leave a choice here).

STOP SNITCHIN'
Is there any other trading platform that's EUR friendly, has minimal fees, enough currencies and works well?
Kraken kept promising it'd work.. but that was months ago. And how to trust people who can't upgrade their servers within months..

GDAX can be a hassle to verify with, especially with their webcam/mobile app requirement. But I will say that once I was able to get verified, I really enjoy trading with 0% fees for maker (limit) orders.

I'd check out Bitstamp if I were you. You can expect standard verification requirements (passport or government ID, proof of residence). They are EUR-friendly and have cheap SEPA deposits and withdrawals, but they convert funds to USD on deposit. They don't have EUR markets, just USD.

Let me just "share my experience with GDAX".

I'm european, I'm on Kraken (which I would keep using if it wasn't terribroken) and Bitstamp (ok but fees are too high). Had no problem registering those.

GDAX not only requires trusting your PHONE (I don't) to send captures of your stuff (because they don't support uploading), they also require you to have an ID card (obviously) AND either a passport or a driving license.
Can't drive a car? You can't join.

Spent an hour trying their broken website on my phone, reading FAQs, installing the Coinbase app, trying several times to reg my passport (kept being rejected, I guess because it has expired)... What a piece of crap!

I am also using gdax for daily ETH trading; most of the research I did voted for coinbase for the high level of funds security and against for the extremely slow customer support.

So far no major issues occurred, I have transferred amounts of btc and eth to and from it, no issues. The only thing that I haven't tried yet is direct withdrawal of money.

i m gdax user
the goods
your usd eur etc fiat funds  in coinbase account is insured up to $250k
https://support.gdax.com/customer/en/portal/articles/2689803-how-deposits-are-insured-on-gdax?b_id=13522
coinbase one the safest wallet i guess they keep over %90 of funds in cold wallet
app is good and stable
transfer between coinbase  gdax wallets are free and instant

the cons
moving your money to coinbase is hassle
even for us residents which they can see all your infos on credit bureau system added bank acc added us pass state driver license bank statements
and it is been more than 18 months  still my coinbase deposit to coinbase $50 a day so the best way buy your coins out side and deposit to coinbase for trade at exchange i bought from local coin and transfer here

GDAX
good stable web based exchange
no stop loss no take profit because of  limit web browser it is laggy in volatility times forget about to be maker and avoid their fees
when position is open you can see your unrealized P/L but when position closed no way to see P/L
leverage is good up to 3x and free for now but it is not fixed software keep change your limits
when goes up or down usually your buy/sell limits cutted to almost your total fund
chart is useless so you have to track some other charts but than you lose correlation between other charts and gdax web chart
between coins like ltc/btc no leverage
when falling shorting no leverage or very very  minor leverage for example 1.2x
same like gemini i think they do have dealing desk bots
when you try to be maker and avoid fees as soon as you hit buy or sale in milliseconds price moves and you'll see minor buy or sell order in front of you of course this is mostly will be opposite direction of trend and you are missing a moving train (same at gemini)

when spread is $0.01 it is okey but when little volatility starts forget about just hit market price and some time thats come with worst price that you seeing on screen.

authy 2fa is good but even if you remove from phone and reinstal you are stuck need to email support team they will answer in at least 48h and you have another 24h to authy keep sent you sms that auty 2fa is resetting
this is time loss please gdax allow to remove authy 2fa i was happy with regular sms 2fa now i can't go back to sms
you cant see your actual balance without closing your positions you see last positions + or - in red green buying power usd balance but no how much money do i have you have to use calculator to find out

basicly for quick trader they are not so good but for little longer trade awsome you can keep up to 3x leverage for 28 days.

i will edit this post when remember some other details.

I'm using them from their launch.
It was very bugged the first months.

Meanwhile it is okay, but still sometimes wrong sequence for websocket (so ignore sequence now) and at least at BTC/EUR pair it happens ~ once a month, that your orders, which should be cancelled, are "pending". They are not in the orderbook anymore, but still blocking your balance for hours. If you do not notice this, you will end up with 100 orders and no balance and then wait ... Support usually answers within 3-10 days, so quite slow. Luckily the pending orders often automatically cleared after ~1-12 hours...
Support told me they will spend more ressources in 2017 to find and eliminate this bug and maybe will also offer an emergency support, which answers much faster.

The service has been working fine for me, you calling it bad just based on the fact they haven't approved your country is a personal problem. I'd like to know how using it actually is.

I've been using GDAX through Coinbase for probably around a week now and it seems nice, but I know Coinbase always has some issues relating to them in regard to customer service and such. Could someone who uses GDAX shed some light on if the service is good or if Coinbase is going to end up fucking me if I do well with day trading on their site.

I only trade a couple hundred bitcoin a day and with bitcoins volatility it's possible to make money, I just don't want to end up having to deal with their customer service or anything like that.
