Jeevy Computers offers a service but charges a whopping 5% fee. Ouch.

I'm not sure I trust Coinbase. Some of their behavior is sketchy.

Just wondering what others' experiences are here.

I'm not ready to sell. I'm holding long, but when the time comes......?

And does everyone care whether or not you're employed at the time?

All my trust to Bitfinex gone because of the last incident. I consider using them prior to that incident even they are facing so much security problems in the past but still the problem continues. Im now trading at Bitstamp and for altcoin trading, Poloniex.

But if you want to hold for long then why bother to think of an exchange today. We don't know the selling rates of the exchanges you can encounter with the suggestions here once the time comes when you want to sold your coins. Best selling rates exchanges can become low selling rates or anything related to that in the future. For now, just let your coins sleep securely and began asking questions like this if you really want now to sold your coins.

Why do you think that Coinbase is sketchy?

It's not very clear what you're trying to achieve here. Are you trying to find a site to sell when the time comes or am i reading your post wrong?

Coinbase is by far the most convenient way, IF you are able to verify yourself. They have probably the best rates as well. Bitfinex has experienced a hack and then liquidity problems, i wouldn't recommend using them because there are so many waits and stuff.

If you can't provide id, use localbitcoins/paxful but make sure you deal with someone with more than 500 trades at least.
