I'll post up about all of the specifics later today, but I have tried scrypt miner, cgminer, the miner provided in Litecoin wallet, cpuminer, and maybe others that I don't remember.  I am going to be busy until Monday night most likely but I'll make sure to put up specs, error messages, ect.

Thanks for the responses

I've had experience setting up ltc mining using cgminer in windows 7. Would be happy to talk you through it but need a little info first.

a) Are you planning on using a GPU (3D graphics card) or CPU to mine?
b) Which specific mining programs have you tried so far?
c) What problems did you encounter and at what stage of installation?

Also, a brief profile of your system specs would help to determine which is the best way to go forward.

Hi all,

I really want to get into LTC mining, but it seems that I cannot get any of my computers/laptops to run them.  I've tried every major mining program in the book.

I'm asking simply if anyone could get on torchat sometime and give me some tech support?  It seems that any forum thread about helping noobs with these kinds of things just drop off after 1 response or so (then no follow up help) :/  I can reward a day's (or three) worth of mining to anyone who gets it running, or a small amount of BTC Grin

It would be ideal to get it up on my linux system, but I also have windows.
