Once I used to watch a lot but now because of lack of time I don't watch it my favorite movies are horror movies because here you will get different types of entertainment that will thrill you and you will be shown some important scenes that you have to believe even if you are unbelievable where you are scared. It will make you want to scare everyone and there are some very good scenes that will give you the feeling of a very cinematic movie and a bit of a ghost in real life.
I just cannot watch movies with evil spirits. Like the Emily Rose Exorcism. Just a bad feeling. Better watch surf movies!!
You are correct to stay away from these demonic forms of entertainment where others terror becomes the entertainment for the viewer. In the astral realm of what is known as hell those who take pleasure in the terrorisation of others might one day dwell in a far more real horror show.

I like the "Astral" series of films, all very good and scary as hell and creepy

Slasher is my everything, I think it's the best genre or subgenre.
I really like the "SAW" film series, but not all parts are good. For example, the extreme part was very cool!

Honestly, no. I think that, compared with comedies, you can be scared of something you see only once after you are aware of it and are not afraid.
With comedies is another scenario. Some jokes make me smile even if I watch it 20 times. Still, some horror movies are very nice; it's just not my style, I guess.

Recently watch "Pearl" in the theater and then rented "X" the other day.....Looking forward to "Maxxxine"
Also in the queue is "3 From Hell". Have seen the other 2 movies "House of 1,000 Corpses" and "The Devil's Rejects"
Tons of other great ones out there...
From sci-fi horror like the "Cube" series.. to silly horror like "Rubber"
And even the "V.H.S." series of films is great... definitely some good mini-horror movies there.
Or even recent films like "Barbarian" and "The Invitation"
Would even include some of the "Black Mirror" episodes from Netflix.. some great stuff!!
And even classics like the original "Friday the 13th" and "Nightmare on Elm Street"
Not into horror movies in the "possesion"/Devil/The Nun/Ring/etc category... too cheesy for me.
And I do give credit to the original horror movies like "Frankenstein", "Nosferatu", "Psycho", etc..
I enjoy a more modern take on my horror.

One of the most terrifying genre is *"Nun cosplay", only if they turn it into a category at Onlyfans, hub etc.🤣

I like all the saw series
I saw The Menu & Smile recently. I’m not going to spoil either for you by telling you anytging about them. I recommend both though, I’d give The Menu 6.5/10 & Smile a solid 6/10. Neither are classics but definitely worth a watch if you can stream them for free.
I sometimes watch horror movies, and I like the ring movies
I don't watch, I prefer action movies.
I have watched a lot of great horror movies, but the only one that i still can watch over and over again is "the exorcism of Emily rose". It talks about a teenage girl who had psychological problems, but we're in the 90th, so they believed that she was possessed by demons, and other myths. Anyways it is a very good one and also it is about a real story. I recommend it.

I like comedies better.
Of all the horror movies, the only one I like is Saw.
I don't like horror movies. My current life is enough to make me feel terrified. The pressure of the epidemic and life is even scarier than horror movies. I hope I can live my life well in the future.
I never watch it, even if the plot is particularly fake, otherwise when I lie in bed at night, I will feel that there are terrifying things around me looking at me.
I don't like horror movies because I like to be imagined when I want to sleep so I prefer to watch romantic comedies because the nuances and storylines are very much and not too stressful
And I love horror movies. They say it's even useful to watch them - this is how we learn how to behave in stressful situations (which we are unlikely to encounter in the real world, but knowledge can be extrapolated). But of course, it is more important to maintain psychological comfort
ALIVE korean horror movie.
I've watched the medium movie. I highly recommend this film. This film is based on a true story, and it's very scary.
I went to the cinema a couple of weeks ago to see Halloween Ends. It was pretty good but nothing too special. I had to see the conclusion of such a great series of movies that’s been going back decades.

Saw series was great, I even enjoyed Spiral but didn’t think it was as good as the originals. minerjones suggested some good new ones which makes me happy. I always think that the modern horror movies are lacking in quality so will be good to check these out.
