I know how to trade about the demand and supply thing based on what you have experienced I think it was a good page since as per your experience it looks like they are good and I supposed you learned from them I really think some people too especially newbie would be able to enjoy it, thanks for sharing. However not all people are the same, some people might not understand it or will find hard to understand it and some people prefer by reading.

Everyone knows how to trade. Open an account, deposit your coins, then buy and sell your coins away to the counter-party. What 90% of “traders” don’t know is how to trade profitably. We plebs are always outsmarted by the whale-cummulators. Cool

His basic course for newbies and the Bitcoin course is the same as the courses you can find everywhere.

Do you still think his video courses make sense? I mean, is it worthwhile to keep up with the Butterfly Effect and his new uploads?

So far, I've finished watching his origin courses, including The Futures of Trading, and his channel has the most comprehensive and step-by-step walkthrough in terms of learning the art of T.A. out of all T.A courses on YouTube.

Basic trading/technical analysis courses for newbies are all the same, or almost the same. Anyone can research and download manuals, and watch YouTube videos.

They migght even be idea copied from more popular traders like Twitter’s @EmperorBTC and @Bloodgood, who are best friends and have made millions together.

I'm familiar with @EmperorBTC, and I even downloaded his trading manual to see which T.A has the same concept and which one makes a lot more sense. I never expected T.A to be so broad, and it appears that it will take me years before I can apply it in the real market?

It might be years for some people, mere months for smarter people. I am included in the “years before I apply it effectively” people. That’s why I stopped “trading”. The solution for me is, Buy the DIP and HODL.

The guy seems to be preying on newbies so it's kinda weird to still watch his videos... In a way you are still giving him some sort of support because it adds views to his channel and videos which has been used by a lot in order to appeal more legit.

Ask yourself this.

If you were a millionaire, making millions of profits every year. Would you waste your time teaching absolute noobs for pennies? It takes time to write ebook, make videos, answer questions, send trading signals. Why bother when you can make a few million doing just trading yourself?

This is why most of these courses are scams and waste of time.

I made a post on this guy a year ago, and I was all pleased of myself for promoting his courses on this forum without realizing that he treated his community members like dirt when there was someone in his discord spewing some dishonesty about cottoncandy. Despite the fact that I continue to watch his free YouTube courses, I still take them with a grain of salt and only watch them when I have some spare time.

He even had an argument with another trader who claimed cotton had stolen someone's work[1] and that he had completely reverse engineered it. Unfortunately, there is no information about that person/trader on the internet, and his courses appear to be relatively hidden.

Until now, his channel contains the courses that are once being paid by his members including the Butterfly effect as well the new ones like FOT remastered and trading strategies.

@Ararbermas

Fortunately, I did not give a damn on paying for his discord channel due to some negative testimonies that I have found on the reddit.

However, maybe I'll try watching some of his youtube contents just to learn even some of the basic T.A stuff, it's just that I can't find some useful content on the internet that teaches a comprehensive trading lesson just like this one. Perhaps cross referencing his lesson to other youtube creators is the best solution I can do
-- I guess I dont have any choice.

correct most courses around the internet were scam, wherein you can find few unless if you really making research to obtain specific information to figure it out if the person offering such things has a good win rate and etc that can prove he or she can really  help you and can change your performance to the next level.. If there's no specific information and only words that he or she is a very professional, better to spend your money with something that can make you happy to prevent regrets. Lol

I'm now wondering if he practices what he preaches??? It's just unfortunate to think that there is a hidden motive behind everything he does, even if the contents he publishes are comprehensive enough to guide someone step-by-step.

Anyways, can someone recommend a good youtube channel that's comprehensive enough to help someone further his trading knowledge? Without any BS and selling of their discord membership? Maybe an alternative learning material that you can vouch?

Few weeks ago I came across a youtube channel called cottoncandyTA. Watched some of his videos regarding the basic supply and demand trading strategy along with using trendlines and the likes.
He also streams on Twitch and is offering free trading courses that claim to be the most accurate T.A, hence the name "The Science of Trading."

His teachings appear to be legitimate, and it's like music to my ears, but I'm curious what your thoughts are on this guy. There are also rumors that members of his discord channel are not treated properly because of some honest feedback. I am not sure what their story is, but after reading these, I believe that the free courses are a waste of time, especially for beginner traders who simply want to learn trading.

I am afraid to waste time watching nonsense courses? What do you think?

If you have a big understanding about this thing dude, I am pretty sure you won't participate in it believe me.
But if you are one of the person who is manipulated by this one, no wonder you follow what He said, but currently,  just like what
you are saying now, it is just a waste of time and you were right actually.

Everything that looks like you will be sold with something can be seen as deceptive because it comes out unexpectedly, and it's not the initial expectation that anyone would have. The people who do this knowledge work on their words and make people feel that they will be saying the right words you want to hear. That makes them a good salesperson, I guess.

As for the guy you posted,  it seems like he knows his stuff. Maybe he has a lot of time to create those videos and a course. That's going to be a source of income for him for sure.

Yeah i read those descriptions also. Basically it obviously won’t work on us, but it usually works for people who are new to trading. Saying stuff like “I cracked the stock market” makes it seem like this was written by some kid.

And there are naive people out there that will believe him. And they will pay for his courses. And he might even have some signals where he actually makes money by showing pictures however it’s most likely edited or photoshopped.

But when people see those 7 figure accounts, they are brought in and scammed.
