I don't know how popular is Strike, but it's neat feature. It's far more practical than asking your employer to pay you partially/fully with Bitcoin. The service itself also have option to withdraw Bitcoin to any address (according to https://strike.me/en/faq/sendbitcoin), so you don't need to risk your Bitcoin on custodial service.

Yeah, the availability is limited, but you can always sign up for the global wait list here:

Thank you for the link, but since I'm currently residing in a country that's been heavily affected by the US sanctions and Strike is a U.S.-based company, then unless that situation drastically changes, I have zero chance of using such things [unfortunately].
- Based on how U.S.-based companies usually expand their services, the next one in the line should probably be the UK or European countries.

This is something attractive, but without a fee for the service seems to be different. The company have stated the focus is upon enriching the savings of people which in recent years have got shrunken. Through this people will be able to save against the highly inflated traditional fiat. This works something as bitpay. The difference there is no fee, if we check both the services we'll understand what really happens when a transaction is being done through it. However a big step to support people save/hold in terms of bitcoin.

If you have a Strike account you can do that as well, with no extra fees.
Well, that's the problem... It's limited to those in the US [with the exception of a couple of states] and El Salvador [unfortunately]!

Does anyone actually knows what's going on here?

Or just probably that they're sacrificing revenue for growth for now.
When "Coinbase" introduced a similar thing back in September, they did mention partnering with certain companies and I assume it's the same thing with Strike [I don't think they're sacrificing anything "from their end"].

That way you will be able to automatically convert a portion of your salary into Bitcoin, without having to do anything about it, and not paying any extra fees.

Does anyone actually knows what's going on here? Jack Mallers have also confirmed in some interviews/podcasts that there are no fees. One time he just made a joke about how they make money by shorting $LINK lol. Probably based on data collection? Or just probably that they're sacrificing revenue for growth for now.

Lately I've been reading headlines from celebrities saying that they're going to get paid in Bitcoin.

If you have a Strike account you can do that as well, with no extra fees.

Here's Strike's Pay Me In Bitcoin announcement

It's pretty simple really. In your Strike account you'll see a direct deposit section in your settings. Once you go there you'll see standard banking details that you can share with your employer.

Once you have that setup, in the Pay Me In Bitcoin section you can just specify how much percentage of your deposits to be converted into Bitcoin automatically. That's it.

That way you will be able to automatically convert a portion of your salary into Bitcoin, without having to do anything about it, and not paying any extra fees.

This is a great way of Auto-DCA.
