This post ranks at the top of search engines for whatever fucking reason, so I felt obligated to make mention that the site has changed ownership, but remains under my leadership.

Because this topic is 3 years old on the Bitcointalk website which has a very high domain authority. It is very important to SEO and search engine algorithms.
it would be even better if you presented it here like this:
The new announcing thread of https://freebitcoins.com/ has moved to  [Official] FreeBitcoins.com BitcoinTalk Directory (Tor Friendly)

Of course, you need to build your new ANN, he will also be ranked but it is very important if it is updated.

FreeBitcoins.com is back online.

It is now a faucet, altcoin exchange, and altcoin swap tool.

Please let me know if you have any questions, thanks!

Wow, you just woke up topic created 3+ years ago  Shocked
most of the users who are posting something here is inactive or banned. to me, this seems completely unnecessary. also, the last post from OP is on 15 July 2017, it seems as if he, too, has given up on the further discussion here.

I'm aware of what I did.  This post is still absolutely valid and I wanted to make mention of some changes...  which I did.

Just finding this thread... sorry I missed it.

I own FreeBitcoins.com along with one other partner.

Our website uses CLAM as the cryptocurrency of choice to operate our faucet.  It is a cheap easy way for us to teach people how to use cryptocurrency without needing them to spend any money.  CLAM also has a very low send costs... we currently do not hold any account funds.  Every request from our faucet is sent via blockchain to our users.  (this may change this summer)

I purchased this website from a gentleman a few years back during the Bitression (Depression via Bitcoin market).v

Our digger is the real money maker on the website.... we are making it much larger too.  The focus is going to be on easily harvesting and/or liquidating forks of Bitcoins.

We are looking for addresses that were in use on the following days:  May 12, 2014 - August 1, 2017 - Octobor 24, 2017!

Happy hunting!

Feel free to ask me any questions.

Sorry, I don't get what's your point. Well, if you've checked the domain at https://www.whois.com/whois/freebitcoins.com you will find the site expiration date is on December 16, 2025, and I think it is owned (being the registrant) by a certain Steven Steiner of 855 Miller Creek, Batesville, AR, USA.

Well, because of my interest in joining the site, I made a thread here simply for purposes of discussion not knowing an official thread already exist here. Now, in as much as there exists already an official thread, I would like to request our moderator here, Sir Dabs to officially close this thread effective this date. Thank you guys for your feedback and support.  Smiley

Great investigations but seems over done for a faucet site lol. I guess OP may not get what he wants like reviews and experiences on this faucets as most of the people here would have stopped using faucets some long back itself.

If anyone deliberately looking for engaging to faucets then freebit.co.in might be a good choice as they are running for years without any major complaints also this site alone a good choice for anyone to build big referral base as we can be sure they will be around us for decades too.

Here is the official thread about the website: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/freebitcoinscom-sell-your-empty-btc-ltc-and-doge-wallets-faucet-too-1680953

Just like Iranus said, they offer to buy anyone's address from May 12, 2014 to look for Clams.

I've searched and found no thread here, so I post it here as it seems interesting. Any issues whatsoever? Thank you.

Nothing grand, just a faucet site. Playground for newbies with lots of time and patience who want to earn some dust, which will come to no use because the fee to spend those dust will be either equal or more than the dust gathered. However, the site makes money from advertisement.

Are you sure?
It's not just a faucet.  Hilarious to see that no one so far even bothered to go on the website.  They could be confusing it with the faucet site freebitco.in.

This site has a faucet, but that's not the main point.  The site is partnered with the cryptocurrency Clamcoin.  Clamcoin is a Proof of Stake cryptocurrency which can be claimed by anyone who held BTC, LTC or DOGE on May the 12th 2014.  You can get the crypto for currently empty addresses.

It's unlikely that they will be worth much in the future, but freebitcoins.com allows you to receive BTC for your addresses, converted from Clamcoin.

No. There are people who are making good money with most of the faucet sites just by referring thousands of people. The key with faucet sites if how effectively you will be promoting your referral links. But we need to choose reputed sites otherwise they will just shut down when you might be getting your 500th referral.

However, the site makes money from advertisement.
That is the business model of a faucets. We can do nothing with that. A user without referrals must be blindly supporting the faucet owners. Because he might be spending more than what he is earning from one site when considering bandwidth and electricity costs.
