hello, i want to send my wallet.dat to my friend, but i want he only can access my wallet to get information (cant send out my coins), anyways to security my wallet before send it to my friend ?

i think you can give your wallet a password. not an ordinary password like email password, but a very long password.
i suggest you to using 64 char password and write it down or backup on your devices. so you wont lose your wallet password.

i see one feature in bitcoin desktop wallet is passphrase, can i set passphrase to my wallet.dat then send it to my friend ?

Yes, you can, but anybody with access to this email can see the balance and the public keys - even when encrypted. If you use GPG as a second encryption layer you can avoid this.

Cryptography is the key to these kinds of problems. Send a encrypted key there to your friend and keep up private key with you so you can only access the Private data of wallet.dat file. you can try some additional steps by providing a password on the encryption file.

Perhaps you could explain why you want to send your wallet.dat to someone. It is probably a bad idea, and there is probably a better way.

You can always send your bitcoin wallet address to anyone but do not send your private key, identifier and your password. Make sure you use google authenticator so that no one  can penetrate your wallet without your consent.

Encrypt your wallet with a strong password and use GPG as a second encryption layer. This way your wallet.dat file will not reveal any information, like the public keys or in- and outputs. You can send it by email or you can even post the PGP ASCII file in public anywhere you want.

Encrypt the wallet with a password using whatever software you used to generate the wallet. This may not be much help If his computer is infected though.
