I also don’t understand why it’s not working for me here. I use Samsung Android phone. I have installed the app but there is an error at the beginning of opening. I would have benefited a lot if the app worked. Because I have to do some transaction in ETH network. I just can't because the fee is higher.  It is annoying to monitor the fee by visiting the website again and again.
There might be a problem with your phone that's cause the app not to function. Could you please mention the android version of the OS your phone is using?

You could also try checking out alternative apps that have been suggested

Have you ever used this app? I installed it but its not working. If anyone has used it, please share your experience here. Because I don't understand that it's not just working here or the same for everyone.
Yes, I have ever used it. The app is working perfectly and keeps sending notifications too with mo problems. I am not sure why it's not working on your side. Maybe compatibility issues.

This is good for the ETH holders like me, so that I know if it is the right time for me to sell to avoid high gas fee in every transaction that I am going to do it. Thanks for this tip mate, perhaps I'm gonna try to download it now at my mobile phone. This is the only time that I found there was an application at the playstore like this to be use in.

Anyone know if there’s an app out there that will notify you when gas fees hit a set amount? With fees spiking they way they are right now and are certain to continue doing in the future I think that would be a useful feature for an app to have.
Im using https://www.gasnow.org/ when im on my pc but i do make use of its APP when im on mobile.

Monitoring gas or having alerts is always needed specially i do make out erc20 tokens transactions most of the time and saving up fees is main priority.
You can also have these options too.

I don't use apps and I don't even know that apps for tracking gas fee exists, I find etherscan gas tracker and ethgas to be very very useful and I've been using them for a very long time now, very accurate

I tried gweifications before but it seems to send me updates very late,,, like by the time I check, fees are high again.

I think the trick is to send an alert for a fee a little bit higher than you want to pay, like say 100 gwei, and then anyway try to send 70 gwei or 80 gwei. It takes a little bit longer to confirm but it works for me and if after 3 hours or so still pending I speed up to 90 or around there.

Found this on reddit

https://ethgas.watch/

It will send us alerts when the gas fee drops as per the site says but I am afraid to enter my emails to avoid spam so give it a try and let us know. Cheesy

if i remember correctly the etherscanbot also has this low gas notification feature. it's free but sometimes slow due to a large number of userbase with limited servers.

1. Gweifications - https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.stefanbratanov.gweifications

2. This one is just a site that can send email notifications once you set it up - https://cryptocurrencyalerting.com/eth-gas-tracker.html

3. https://www.gasnow.org -  Good for iOS folks and it also has a Chrome extension

4. Gas alerts - https://apps.apple.com/tt/app/ethgas-alerts/id1547410640. Only on iOS platform

There's an app called "ETH Gas Price" on Google Play Store that can provide users with live Ethereum gas fees. Users can customize fees and save it in the settings but I am unsure if it provides live notification when the gas price reach a specified amount.

I didn't know if there are on-the-go apps that suits what you need. But have you checked this: Make your own Telegram bot to track ETH gas fees!?

I haven't yet tried it out though, So I'm not sure if it really works.
