Probably a few people with coins to burn that bought some for a joke to use as a gag gift or something. Who knows maybe on day they'll be collectible tokens . You can hardly call earning 1eth making money. It probably took more effort to set up website etc.

Yeah this is what you do in times of the ICO craze if you need a new phone or a pair of shoes for your girlfriend. Just create a worthless token ICO on the Ethereum blockchain and receive a couple hundred bucks. Buy your phone or the shoes for your woman and the mission is accomplished. Bingo and congrats, you are now a junior banker.
