To answer the topic, moderators delete low quality and spam threads/posts when spotted, and you don't have to dress their attention to it with a thread, you can simply 'report to moderator'. If the accusations is actually unsubstantial an old baseless, it'd likely be overlooked by those interested in your project, if it's not so clear the you prove it is with a substantial defence on your thread or wherever else the accusations is brought up.

The best way to deal with criticism to your project whether its unfounded or not is to answer back with counter arguments, and backing up your counter argument with proof. You could go the self moderated route, but its likely that they'll attack you with their own thread, and use you deleting their comment has an argument against your project. it's always best to remain transparent, and bring the facts to the table.

As others have noted, anyone is allowed to spout whatever unsubstantiated bullshit they want here about you or any project.

He is violating this as the post is is pointless!!!

Well, it has to be pointless to whoever is capable of deleting it, for the rest of the world it really does not matter.

Let me tell you something, if I had to bet on say 50 new coins, I would bet SCAM and i am pretty sure I will end up making a shit load of money, and this probably is what the majority of other people think, so  it would be a wise idea if you could deal with these "accusations" with way less drama, I mean you shouldn't start a whole topic against everyone who calls you a scammer, on the contrary and if you are really legit then you should prove it, and it is not easy to do so anymore , but if your project is legit, it will stand out of the crowed regardless of how many accusations against you are there.

and as others have mentioned, it's very unlikely that any mod will delete that post, if you think it violates any rules, hit the report to moderator and that's it ,  I suggest you lock the thread and move on.

Opinions are not moderated. This forum and bitcoin was a result of libertarian ideals. If you don't like what someone is saying then either respond to it proving them wrong or ignore them. If they break the rules then use the report to moderator button under their post.

reflexiontoken:   Have your known partners provide proof that they are indeed partners with you; and maybe the accusation will be retracted;  but these accusations don't come lightly; and are for a VERY good reason if you do your research like I just did.

If you are willing to issue a project with a newbie account:  you should be willing to accept the flak and skepticism from the veteran members of this site.  Expect to have to prove yourself heavily to become trusted.

If you can't deal with it in a calm and concise manner;  you are in the wrong business and should rethink your life choices right about now.

Please help us with this one instance.
We are happy to provide any sort of evidences/proofs moderators need here.
You don't seem to understand how this works.

Users are free to post what they like, within the forum rules. So, if you believe the user has violated one of the forum rules, you can use the "Report to moderator" link on the post, explain which rule you believe they have broken and why... If the moderators agree, the post will be removed. If not, it'll stay and there is nothing you can do about it.

Note, if the user is constantly saying "scam" without any evidence to back that up, I would report that as "trolling".

If you are unsatisfied with the work of the moderators, then as pointed out by QuickSeller, you should create a self-moderated thread so you can delete posts as you deem appropriate. Bearing in mind that this could open you up to claims of censorship and preventing open debate regarding your project, should you just simply delete any post that is vaguely critical of your project.

In addition to what HCP said, you should also refrain from breaking the rules yourself. If I were a cynical old fart I'd say you haven't even read the rules.

Incorrect information is not removed simply because it is incorrect or inaccurate.

You can create a self moderated thread if you wish. You can also provide a fact based set of reasons why he is wrong and others can make their own conclusions.

Thanks but you can see based on all information we have provided there is no connection of Reflexion Lounge with other projects other than some developers worked on some other project he is claiming.

His comment stating project is scam without any strong evidences is totally false and it does affect reputation of our project unnecessarily for the people coming on BitcoinTalk and reading it.

Yes, we have locked the thread now but it's too late for us before we realised it.

Hello Moderators and Senior Members here,

We are new on BitcoinTalk and we have just posted our ANN and Bounty announcements on BitcoinTalk last week but unfortunately we became victim of false accusation here.

Can you please help us stopping FUD about Reflexion Project. Please have a look at it - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/ann-5158455

Here you can check his profile. https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/vivanetwork-2071330. His last activity was in May 2018 and now he just came back and spreading FUD on our thread. His allegation doesn't have any base and Reflexion Lounge business has nothing to do with any other projects.

Please let us know if you need anything else from us. We are happy to provide any sort of evidences or proofs required.

Thank You.
