March into their HQ? No need. They can simply send them an email.

Nah, the KGB might be monitoring  Grin

You mean US-KGB  Grin Grin as they do currently listen more than 5 million people worldwide, including presidents and prime ministers of various countries.

Nope, the Five Eyes and all the world governments are planning to establish a new world order, so we are all being observed lol.

Seriously tho, we cant trust any computing device.  The only solution is open source hardware wallets, and encryption devices, that have simple verifiable protocols, that can sign/encrypt data we want to send/store.

We can't trust the internet. The FBI can simply push a button and "seize" a website and all its servers. If they wanted a New World Order, they can simply destroy the whole american electricity grid, making a ton of servers go down and communication difficult.

Ha ha, is that where it's coming from?!  Doomed to fail then.  Nobody trusts US hardware anymore.

It's worse!  It's US company with a UK presence.  All the NSA have to do is march in to their HQ, with a entourage of lawyers, demand a back door into the phone, and threaten imprisonment and torture if they spill the beans!

What a joke.

Apple iPhones will be crap when the Blackphone launches.

iPhones are bought by the fashion conscience, and those less tech savy with money to spend.  That's a big slice of the market right now, and one Blackphone is unlikely going to dent.
The biggest slice of the market, are people who want the best product, for the least amount of money.  Android wins here, and will most likely grow this sector by a huge margin as prices fall.

I own an iPhone and I'm into fashion as well, but I'm more tech savy than most. The Blackphone is going to be built on top of an android os.

Motorola (Google) are talking about a $50 smartphone.  Bitcoins + affordable smartphones are perfect for developing nations.
Apple cant compete with that.

i know more people switched to androids lately than converted to iphones

reason behind the apple restrictions and very slow progress on technology, the camera, processor and limitation of memory is yesterday technology, nothing is new (ok, apart of 4 options) in iPhone 5S/C compare to iPhone 5 to jump from Samsung and upgrade to iPhone.

So what... It will end up only usable on the iPhone 6, and not on older devices due to "hardware restrictions".

It seems that Apple is looking into (ab)using all the credit card information it has of its "beloved" customers for building up its own payment service: http://www.macrumors.com/2014/01/24/apple-mobile-payment-service/

Maybe this is why they used all they censorship powers against Bitcoin in the past?  But I guess they will fail in the end, and Bitcoin will win anyway. Smiley
