The visual is appealing and the designer have done thoughtfully research of Apple devices, but not enough research about hardware wallet in general (mic, speaker and mining aren't usual feature on hardware wallet).

If apple decide to enter cryptocurrency space, i expect they will make such hardware with wider usage, such as 2FA (just like yubikey), password manager and cryptocurrency support.

Yeah it is true, but I looked some of his other works and activity in social media and he seems interested in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency space and that is a good thing, and maybe someone will make voice login instead of password in future but I think this would be a bad idea, same as fingerprint login that some wallets are using now.
Anyway, having more designers creating concepts for Bitcoin related devices is always a good thing.

I also don’t see apple potentially making much money off of a HW wallet. The price range for most apple products is much higher than that of HW wallets currently on the market. Most apple products also tend to complement each other.
Apple can always make money from anything so don't worry about that, my problem is that their hardware wallet would 100% be closed source like for all their products now and that can be double edged sword if you ask me.

Knowing Apple price policy, I imagine that Apple wallet would be overpriced, especially in comparison with other HW wallets. But no doubt that they would find their customer. It's very difficult to enter HW wallet market for new devices, but Apple wouldn't have this problem.
Overpriced - checked, but I am sure people would still buy it like all their products, and this would be some new toy for playing.

I don't know, but for me it's difficult to expect that Apple would enter hardware wallet market. But who know, with increasing interest in crypto, it can be possible. Probably few years ago nobody would have predicted that PayPal will support Bitcoin.
There is just concept, so it probably doesn't mean anything that it have mic and speaker. But I agree that it would make more sense to have camera to scan QR codes or wallet addreses.

I would be very surprised if apple released a HW wallet. Apple lines to have the ability to force update their devices and apps (they won’t usually do this), and updating the OS could potentially cause it to “brick”. This isn’t a huge deal for most apple products because most of their products with customer data are backed up regularly. Backing up private keys in the cloud is generally not a good idea.

Italian Designer Antonio DeRosa created interesting concept for future Apple Hardware wallet called Apple Money, after rumors that Apple may enter the Bitcoin and  crypto market.
Apple Money received nice feedback on social media and he surely got some attention from Apple developers, but there are some fantasy details like family mining.

He imagined this hardware wallet will have:

- Apple Security Chip S2
- Compatible crypto assets
- Apple card- support
- Certified Secure Element EAL5+
- Pin code
- Bluetooth support
- 512x64 touchscreen
- USB typeC support
- 2W speaker and Mic (I don't know why would you have this on hardware wallet)
- Fingerprint reader (I don't like this feature)
- 12h standby mode
- Dimensions 11x20x9 mm

I don't see any Camera here and I think this would be much better to have for QR codes instead of microphone and speaker.

He even created a video about Apple Money:

I think this deserves more attention, and Apple may create their own hardware wallet version in future that can look totally different than this, but it is interesting concept and we need more designers working on crypto related concepts like this.
