It will not effect BTC but Apple will monitor what you buy, and make you accept their agreements.

It seems very likely that Apple sees potential in BTC, but wants to take full advantage of that idea by creating own currency.

They will both fail to BTC, first of all with Apple you will never have any privacy, they will monitor what you buy, and make you accept their stupid agreements.

they will never reach the glory of PayPal, PayPal is already the main processing unit on all major websites and Apples platform will probably have the same destiny as google checkout..

for example, eBay will always be used only with PayPal Cheesy

FROSTING
I don't know how it will effect BTC but I am sure Apple is now going to make a deal with Paypal as Samsung has already begun their collaboration - http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20140224006788/en/PayPal-Samsung-Consumers-Shop-Pay-Fingerprint-Authentication#.UxG28EJ_uJc

I think this is also interesting   - http://www.forbes.com/sites/anthonykosner/2014/02/25/samsung-and-paypal-move-against-apple-with-galaxy-s5-finger-swipe-payments/

Some of the properties listed about discussed patents are already build in into Bitcoin.

How can this play for Bitcoin? Again this is just another silo sort of thing just to make credit cards more easier to use. Make shopping better for some iDevice owners.

What are your thoughts?
