well the 64bit architecture is nice to have,
but I'm sure it will take some time until Apps really take advantage of it. (at least if i compare it to personal computers. a lot of endconsumer software still hasn't full 64bit support)
everything should run quite smooth though if it's well optimized

720p video recording at 120 FPS:
that's just a gimmick. it won't take long until this becomes a standard for every smartphone in this price range.

fingerprint sensor:
it still sounds more like a gimmick to me than a real security factor.
Could make more problems than it solves and it's defintively no reason for buying with the NSA case in mind.

besides...
They still haven't integrated a microSD-cardslot, right?  Roll Eyes

My favorite meme for this yet is what the NSA is thinking.

"Access to the new largest fingerprint to name database without even trying"

Yea, this exactly. Apple can promise all they want but it doesn't stop them. Although they already have the fingerprints of any U.S. citizen on file (various legal documents).

iPhone 5C is not cheap, and it looks like cancer with a touchscreen.
Nokia 1100 = cheap.

Their asking price for the Iphone 5C is crazy. I was expecting a budget device something priced similarly to the Nexus 4. In the UK, the iPhone 5c costs £469. For comparison you can get the Nexus 4 from the play store for £159. Oh and I totally believe that it should be nicked named the "Lumia Iphone".

I agree.  I am not sure what they are doing yet at Apple.  The 5C phone needs to be priced at $399 no contract for them to do any damage to Android. Well at least if Apple wants to get more market share in the developing world.  Otherwise this will be Apple's "new coke" moment.  In the USA the 32gb should have been $50 and the 16 should have been free.

Now the 5S is priced right for Apple and what it contains.  I will order it.

So who's paying attention to this? Are you getting one?

I'm going to futilely ask that people don't spam "APPLE SUX" or "ANDROID FTW". Just requesting some polite discussion.

Features worth talking about (updating):

 - 64-bit A7 processor
 - "M7" co-processor (may be removed, not sure if just marketing talk)
 - 720p video recording at 120 FPS
 - Fingerprint sensor
