Apple probably wants hackers like Borodin to continue destroying their market rather than just adapting Bitcoin. Nah, even without Jobs again, they can't still be *that* suicidal. Oh wait, they think Bitcoin was created by Google and would rather screw over their shareholders than embrace a technology actually invented by their competition.
