Well most people are dumb. They tend to go with what is "cool". That is how we got our current President, even as far as clothing and all that stuff.

One thing that people over look is that when looking at say an apple computer vs a desktop, apple severly limits the hardware for that OS, where with a desktop, You have thousands of individual items you have to code for...

God forbid you need to replace something in an apple. Hell, you pay a steep price for that item. On top of that you just cant "upgrade this part now, use the other old stuff and upgrade as you can".

Just observe every coin released here, of course it has no value really except what people are willing to give it. That goes for most stuff in life.

When people launch any new coin you could ask the same. I guess with scrypt coins people are using their electricity to create the coins, hence they cost something to produce and people are speculating a small amount that this coins name could catch on or the devs will bring some new feature for that coin that will make it stand out and be of use. It then either snowballs or dies.

I mean this is a very simple 2 sentence explanation. But of course your question could be addressed to any coin even bitcoin when it first came out.

Rottenapple or whatever the devs called it would be the same, perhaps it would die out or perhaps it would be worth something

However for a very small amount of effort from everyone it could actually get some large media attention a backlash to apple from the entire crypto community could send a very big message to companies like apple.

I think it could be way more worth while than 99% of these latest coins that serve no purpose.

Apple really thrives on it's cool image, although really it is very uncool at it's core. We need to highlight how it removes choice from customers at nearly every avenue.

That's right we need apple to not seem cool any longer.... i like their products....but most assclowns buy their shit not because they know they are superior tech but because they are seen as cool. Look at most people crawling around on all fours laden down with iproducts. They have apple because their friends have apple not because they know them to be better tech. I actually question if they are better on many products anyway. Apple is king at marketing above all else.
