I doubt that he is someone that cares about the forum anyway. I'll quote up to 5 of his posts, you can check the rest of his post history Wink .
Yeah, they are obviously low quality. Although, these stupid threads that ask a generic question (The favorite website one for example) just invites these sort of users to post these replies. Looking at the threads they aren't the only one to make low quality posts.

i don`t want to think about it

Forever scares me

I have not been but it is my dream

Facebook and YouTube

Try to find friends who have the same interests

Be my judge.

PS: I just reported the user.

but posting exclusively in either Off-topic or P&S is frowned upon by a lot of people anyway.  In either case, it's best to just let the mods deal with something like this (or not).

It shouldn't be frowned upon though (assuming that the user isn't spamming) just because the off topic and Politics and Society were associated with account farmers and spammers doesn't mean we should tar everything with the same brush. There's interesting topics within the Politics and Society section it was just drowned out by the abusers mentioned above and I imagine the Off topic section has quality posts too.

If you post well, posting exclusively in off topic or polotics and society is fine - it's a bit unusual but...
I don't think it's usual per say. New users normally flock to these because the other main sections require a little bit of knowledge about Bitcoin.

Report him to the mod then. He's probably spamming and could do with being nuked before he continues on the same trajectory.
Yeah, that's what I'd do if I were OP.  Personally, I don't see anything wrong with just posting in the Off-topic section as long as you're not spamming--but posting exclusively in either Off-topic or P&S is frowned upon by a lot of people anyway.  In either case, it's best to just let the mods deal with something like this (or not).

The member described by OP sounds like he's just a one-line spammer, so he'll probably get a ban.  If not, you've got that good ol' ignore button at your disposal.

Only posting one word/one line posts and the fact they don't have any merits is the problem here.

What are the general parts of his posts, are they one word posts or do they make sense and have a few sentences?

Most of his posts are one-liner posts  and the rest are just plainly one-word without any reasoning or explanation at all.

He has gaps in his posts, so that won't be an issue. The issue is posting only in one section maybe for the sake of ranking up to Jr. Member.
Don't think it's too much of an issue unless his posts are complete spam, but then you could just report his posts and specify that he only posts in off topic with equally rubbish posts.

If they have no context then report them.

It's probably not too much of an issue. If he's spamming, he's limited to a section already.

How many merits does he have? He'll realise once it gets to turning to member that he's made a probelm for himself as he can't rank up any further.

No merits. I doubt that he would get one anyways  Cheesy.

Hi!
I managed to stumble upon a user that is posting only in the Off-Topic section for the rest of his post history. User's post and activity count is already at 28 which is already near for ranking up to Jr. Member rank but all of his posts are ALL in the Off-Topic section. Is it applicable to report these kind of users?

PS: I bookmarked the user's profile, just in case.
