Rare I g as he coin has been peeled, it's not worth near as much as it was when intact. Being said, it may be worth more than a standard edition peeled coin but not by much.
I've also peeled one of mine just because I was curious to see inside. I don't think I've actually redeemed the DOGe from it though.

Exactly what I did, never knew the value would decrease drastically Sad
Guess I'll wait a few years

What did you expect? It is a coin, not even made of precious metal, with a hologram on the back.  Under that hologram, as clearly stated when you bought it, is a private key to the public address. All you have left is a redeemed coin, it has lost most of it's value and it's very unlikely the to increase in price by much even after a few years.

I agree with Took's estimates. I would think somebody on here would still be interested in an opened Crypto Imperator coin, as no one else likely opened their coins, but you would have to sell it pretty cheap as a novelty opened coin. Especially because I believe you can still buy regular CI 10,000 Bits coins from the maker, for a good price. The Limited Edition coins are sold out, and yours was L.E., but with the hologram removed so is the Limited Edition proof (L.E. number was cut into hologram).

Edit: I wonder why you would open the coin to get the 0.01 BTC inside though? Was there a recent to-the-moon Bitcoin price increase that we all missed? Lol, just messing with you...

Does a CryptoImperator 10k have resell value? It is one of the limited edition (pretty high number) but I opened the holo.
Does that decrease value?

Yes.

However, the value for any crypto related coin is drastically lower if the hologram is broken.
If the hologram was intact could you properly have got 20-50 USD (depending if it was the doge or bitcoin) - now is the best you can hope for ~10 USD (imo).

I think you are right, I also think nobody will buy a CryptoImperator with a broken holo now, maybe in a couple of years, who knows.
The only coins that are being sold with opened holo's are Casascius.
Cheers
