I see no reason why OP is only asking for apps from Google Play Store, in my opinion it is very hard to get some money just by doing some task on smartphone. I will not say that there are no applications through which one can earn money, but let's be real, there is no serious profit there, unless the application offers a referral program, and user is good in get big number of referrals.

Some mention faucets, but time, when it was possible to get decent amount of coins from them in easy way, is over. I remember 2014/15 when BTC price was around $200, faucets are very easy (no pops, short links, redirections), and in some 60 minutes with good faucet rotator I make 200 000 - 300 000 satoshi + almost same amount from referrals. I save those coins, so their value is go up 100 times today, so maybe if you claim today in faucets in few years value of those coins will go up xx or xxx times, but crypto is big risk, and time is very limited and precious for humans.

Does anyone use or know any app on Google play store that pays real money or something like that.
If you are having no regular job and having lots of free time then you may check and try crypto faucets. Please note: whatever you earn in USD or in your fiat may not grow over the time. All the people who have suggested here so far considering your energy and time with respect to current worth of your rewards. But, saving cryptos for longer time may bring you big differences. Still, faucets are not good for full time job as you cannot make a living out of it. But, you may have 2 to 5 good faucets and make use of them as side work along with a major job like being a freelancing coder+signature participation in this forum (for example).

If you have time to do something fruitful, get a job and work hard to earn money.
People from developing and under developed countries are having more free time but less opportunities to work hard. I am sure if they pick up any software coding kind of skill then definitely they might find a path to work hard. But, most people are looking for "easy money" in the name of "free money".

To get paid, you must be physically or mentally active. No one offers money for free.
The amount of earned money is commensurate with the amount of effort and therefore the more skills or physical ability you have, the more money you earn.
Some applications offer money for viewing ads, but the payoff through them is small and many of them contain viruses.

Invest in your mind instead of wasting your time in things that destroy you mentally or physically.
Learning a programming language will bring you a lot of profits.
I guess viewing ads profit the app owner at much significant higher than what the app is gonna pay the consumer. It's like a type of scam scheme. And yeah, I agree, it's pure mental pressure lol.

Apps paying money for what exactly? I think there are some faucets or micro jobs kind of apps available where you eill have to watch ad, do signups, downloads apps and etc to get money. But such apps usually is just waste of time. And these peanuts that they are paying are barely can be called as real money
Today my friend told me about one app which counts your steps and pays in their tokens which are tradable on exchanges. Of course rate is low now but from the other side you just walk and it counts )
Why you don't tell name of app? Smiley
I know one app similar to your description. It's Lympo. You earn their tokens by walking, running and completing challenges. I haven't tried it, but I doubt that you can get something significant from it.

It is a BEAT app. Yeah Lympo is looking like Beat. I think it is just like a loto. It can bring you some profit or not. You are just walking and earn some tokens without any additional actions from your side.

By the way it is a German project. App is available for iOS and Android.
And it doesn't pay if you move by bicycle or be car. May be one day after 1-2 years you will discover that your walking during this time let you buy new smartphone, laptop or car.

And there are a couple of faucet rotator apps too, but that's an even bigger waste of time. I've never used them, so I can't tell what other surprises they bring (I won't be surprised to find at least ad exploiting).
Heh, the greed for free money is pretty high in this world and this is what many scammers and hackers try to use to blunt the logic out of any person. I am sure all of you are aware of the bank frauds that promise you something big but need you to pay some tiny amount to get it done. No tiny amount but scam. Its the same here, those who look for free money get scammed.

The phrase "Free money" is an oxymoron - money is never free.

There are many apps that allow you to do surveys and install other apps which are basically bloatware and at times hidden malware and thus you get paid some type of currency to your account.

Well there are apps that pays you to like download other apps and view ads and videos. But, the data you will spend on it, the profit will be far less than the cost lol. However there are some apps like sweatcoins that will pay you for certain tasks like sweatcoins pay you when you walk with gps on. There was an app called zwerl that paid to chat. I think they discontinued that service though.

Two things:
1. These are basically a waste of time. If you have time to do something fruitful, get a job and work hard to earn money.
2. These app install are often malware so you could try doing them on a VM like Andy or Bluestacks, but still not worth it.
