Can this power supply be used for D3's also? Bitmain has 2 different APW3++'s listed and they look exactly the same but one says it can be used for 1 D3, 1 S9, or 1 L3+ and the other one says it can be used for L3+ or 2 L3+'s.... can the one that says it can be used for 2 L3+'s also be used with the D3?  Cause the other one can be used with d3 s9 and l3+ so i dont understand why the second one couldnt be used for a D3 also? I am new to this apparently, sorry for the noob question. Just wondering cause i ordered some d3's and one l3+ and would rather get the APW3++ that says it can be used with up to 2 L3+'s IF it can be used with a D3 also cause they ship out in november instead of december like when the other APW3++ ships out... would much rather get them in november when i will be receiving my miners. Anyways thanks in advance for any help you may provide. Have a good one.

Do you live in China?

Where are you located?

If in the USA

Hey Haggs, I got another question...
I am going to have to hire an electrician to come to my place before I receive my miners to add some 30A breakers for them right? I could be totally wrong, dont judge. lol.
Wish I knew how to do electrical work, would be a hella good thing to know...

Presumably, you are talking about adding one 30 A breaker for 220 or 240 V power. You should be using a PDU (power distribution unit) such as the one linked below (not a recommendation BTW). Your electrician won't really know what to do unless you give them specific instructions since power receptacles are not universal. Ideally, you choose the PDU that meets your requirements (i.e. single-phase 208-240 V basic, switched, metered, etc.) and then see what kind of receptacle it plugs into. Then you should generally go out and get that receptacle and the box / plate to mount it in (Home Depot, electrical supply store, Amazon) and have it ready for the electrician so all they need to do is run some wire, conduit, and hook up the breaker. Don't rely on the electrician to figure out how to connect your miners to your power supply.

https://www.amazon.com/Tripp-Lite-Outlets-Rack-Mount-PDU1230/dp/B0007YG85A/ref=pd_sbs_23_2?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B0007YG85A&pd_rd_r=BQJBK5WJ9WK6TM2Z0631&pd_rd_w=1Is8m&pd_rd_wg=HYIq1&refRID=BQJBK5WJ9WK6TM2Z0631&dpID=31M8t%252BMq9yL&preST=_SX300_QL70_&dpSrc=detail&th=1

If you're supplying 240 V to the PDU, then you can run up to 5,760 W (.8 (derated to 80%) x 30 x 240) on that one breaker. This would allow you to run at least 3 L3+ and 3 D3+ (which are running at 1000 W ea) assuming you have 240 V power (if it is 208 or 220 then substitute that in the calculation).

Thanks anyways!

And is your signature saying that you solved 2 solo bitcoin blocks with those miners? Just wondering. lol. Thats what it seems to mean to me but I could be wrong.

Sounds good, the electrician should know what to do when he knows what do you need.
I have no knowledge about the ANSI standard world in the US, so I can't give you any specific tips what to do.  Undecided

No, you can not use the APW3++ for two D3s.
It doesn't have enough power capacity for two D3s.

If you have two D3s then you will buy two APW3++.
Period.

recently ordered Ant Miner S9,D3 and L3+ from china, vendor's Whatsapp Number: +861572662815.

Mine are working great!
This sounds like a lousy scamming attempt.

Yes you can use it with the D3.

The only difference between those two is the number of PCI-E power cables..

Awesome thank you for the quick reply!
Only reason I was wondering was cause the one that costs more says "for L3+ or 2 L3+" and didnt mention the D3 or S9 like the cheaper one does. Anyways, thanks again!
Oh and would I be able to use it with 2 D3's then? if I could connect it to 220-240v? Guessing the answer is a yes. Just want to make sure. Thanks!
