This isn't so much a technical question, but rather how the forum will treat the hard-fork of BTC into BCH.

Is BCH considered an Altcoin and hence unwelcome to be discussed, or is it so close to BTC that it's OK to include it? I am thinking this same question applies to all the sub-forums (e.g. Hardware, Speculation, Pools, etc).

I had no god idea on how to get some insight into this, and the various moderators might want to update their various "sticky" threads with some kind of guidance.

Not that it is "unwelcome" but it shouldn't be in the main Bitcoin Discussion board since it's considered an altcoin. It is a fork made off of the original Bitcoin code so where do you think will it be? This forum is welcome to entertain any discussions and queries relating to bitcoin and alts. Just make sure that you place them in the right board.

And afaik, no BCH threads were deleted, they were just moved to the Altcoins section.

I believe that you should make them in the Alternate cryptocurrencies Board[1] since BCH is an altcoin. At least, most of the old threads about BCH from the period of the fork were moved to this board.
