It will take a while for the bitcoins mass adoption to take place. firstly the silly ass authorities should start considering btc as they are always up on banning it in the US i read a thread on this here in the forum plus in order to make btc in real action and mass adoption backs have to come in and play role which i think is not  going to happen ever at least not in next few years.

Give it a year or two and it will be in every major city and major merchants should be using it by then.

The easiest way to track Bitcoin's geographic adoption by location would probably be the interactive merchant map at http://coinmap.org

It uses Google Maps as a base so you can pan, zoom, etc.

O man someone beat me to the punch. I was kind of phishing cause I started cryptocoinmaps.com doing something similar. We plan to be aggressive with listings so when u travel you know where Cripto currencies are adopted. May the better site win as of now they are kicking our ass hahah

I haven't traveled much but I haven't yet found a single "bitcoin accepted" sign yet.

I'm planning to have a booth here in tarpon that accepts bitcoin at some point though. It's not definite but it's safe to say that tarpon springs may soon have a small bitcoin merchant.

Nice.Let me know the progress.

No, not yet.

Every city I visit, I look for bitcoin merchants.  I've failed every time for the past two years.

I look forward to my first success...

Is it safe to say that you can find bitcoins in every major city in the US if not in the world? Do you guys think that there are merchants located in all major cities that will accept bitcoins?
