cheap hardware in what aspect. The only miners that can even have a small chance of ROI are the 1th miners and above now. Those are pretty expensive for the average user now and so far even the antminer s2 does not look profitable or that it will even come close.

I remember when BFL Jalys 5GH were selling for $3500-5000 on FleaBay.

Now 9 months later they use more electricity than the BTC they generate.  Basically paperweights now.

Its the conspiracy theory as the manufacturers spend more time with the machines to mine for themselves.

Just order from Ninjatech, 112bit, or Minersource if you want an Antminer.

They should have stock.

Hardware makers have smartened up.  They will price their hardware in such a way that you do not easily make back your investment, they'd be a fool to sell you a machine that makes more money for you than for them off you.  I think mining in the future will not be for profit but rather a necessary expense to maintain the ever decreasing supply of bitcoins.

Parallel to the news from China, several hardware companies have obviously ceased to sell their equiopment for Bitcoins. Funny enough, I can't reach the site of Lketc anymore. Bitmain's ants are labeled as available, however, it is not possible to order them anymore. Other companies which sell miners on Alibaba all the sudden have stopped to accept payments in Bitcoins. So probably, KnC, Bitmine and other non-chinese producers will become more important again...?
Well if this will happen perhaps you are right, but there will be new who will come to the game.
So do not worry. There is always an answer for problems. We just need some time. 2013 and 2014 crazy for Bitcoin Smiley I hope in the second half of the year things will settle and new improvements (new hardware, new prices etc) will be done.
