The ICO mechanism can be a salvation either for teams with high-level management who can save on the cost of capital without damaging the project by the lack of "smart money" from the venture investor or projects of inadequate quality for which venture financing is not available due to their inconsistency the criteria imposed by VC.
'According to data from coindesk, the $6.3 Billion USD that ICOs have raised so far this year represents 118% of the total invested on 2017, which so far had been the peak year.'
