New Pools are like a Field of Dreams, "If you build it, they will come." or not. Is it needed? *shurg*. If you are asking "will you get a return on your investment"? To quote Lisbeth Salander, "Maybe". Should you do it? only you can decide that.

Hmm...joining a pool run by someone who doesn't even know what protocol he's going to use, and can't spell it either, doesn't really inspire any confidence.

Sorry about that stratum it was about 3 AM when i replied to this and it looks like my auto correct played a trick on me.

Stratus Support I think for the first users we would not charge a fee at all donation only. Once we get our hash rate high enough we would start charging 1 or 2% at the most for a score based payout. Also thinking of doing Monthly prizes. Something kind of random and give out the USB Miners or tablets and such.

I am thinking that every 100 shares gets your name in the bucket and then monthly do a lotto for the prize.

Can you give us more information? What sort of payout scheme will you use? Will you support Stratum etc?

We are about 80% finished with a new bitcoin pool. I am struggling if we are going to keep this a private pool for our own use or open it to the public. We have plenty of server, bandwidth and DDos mitigation services in place already so we have most of the big obstacles covered. How many people would be interested in an invite only or new open to the public pool?

I think we will have the front end up in the next week or two.

If you are interested please reply to this topic with what hashrate you could/would commit.
