Bitaddress is fully safe, just take care in never exposing your key to the net and you are good.

Moon?
* Back in the day there was Knoppix Live CD (http://www.knopper.net/knoppix/index-en.html). Not sure if that is still the best choice. Someone more current please suggest an alternative. Smiley

Ubuntu Live CD.

If you're exceedingly paranoid, use an old ass printer when you print out the addresses and destroy the printer when done.

Bitaddress is all Javascript. So you can save that Website (the html file) on a usb stick and run it from there from any browser without needing an internet connection.

You could then download a Live CD* and open the website in a browser. Write everything down or print it out. This way the OS will be in memory and gone once you restart your computer.

This is all a little bit on the paranoid side and a little unwieldy. In case you only want to store your bitcoins and are worried about leaving traces on your computer for when you go online again with it, this might give you an idea how to tackle your requirements.

I would like to buy some BCs in person anonymously, and I would also like to get maximum security from theft.

So the easiest way would be to just print out a paperwallet and buy over localbitcoins.com. Would you recommend that? I'm a bit concerned about Bitadress eg keeping my private key in some form so it can be by someone found later.

Also, how can I wipe every trace of my private key from the laptop from which I print it?

Even better, can you tell me how to create a cold paperwallet offline? I'm not very good with the IT-stuff, so if this gets too complicated, it's probably not for me. Also, I don't own a second laptop.

Thanks, I appreciate you guys answering!
