Dont be silly. The staff abuse their power here just as much as the higher ups do it everywhere else in real life. But for the most part I'd say most of the staff at bitcoin talk are cool people who try not to abuse their power.

Most likely the simple answer to all questions is "No". These types of questions simply can't get a 100% clear answer unless you know everything. And the people who asks these questions usually will have a hard time believing any other answers other than the ones they thought to be true.

From what I've seen they will usually let someone evade their ban after some time has past and they follow the rules.
Any base for that allegation?
Like a clear case of evidential ban evasion that is known to moderation, but went unpunished?

Do certain users fall under a different set of rules than other users?
Ideally, they shouldn't.

Is there a secret hierarchy that is not visible to regular users?
Something like the free mansons? Cheesy

Can one evade the permaban whereas another one can not?
If you get caught, that should always result in your other accounts being banned permanently aswell.
A permanent ban is being given for a cause, I don't see any reason why staff should ignore the evading.
Accounts being unbanned are a different thing, even though we don't see that one often.
