Saying that an American man is British is like saying because Great Britain colonized some part of Africa it then makes people of those Africans countries colonized by Britain as British people. So to answer your question op from my own end based on knowledge Americans are not British. They are tow different people entirely.

This really answers OP question, if an Americans man is a British man, because the former colonized the latter, then me as an African man, who's country is also colonized by the British, makes me British too. We should understand that america, is a multi ethic country, so we can not call them British, because they have people who's origins are Britain. What about Americans whose origins are Chinese, will you say Americans are Chinese? What about America's native indians, can they also be called British? Maybe if a person has dual citizenship, then I believe that the person can be identified as a citizen of the original and adopted county

Does this thread belong to Off-topic?

Off-topic - "Other topics that might be of interest to bitcoiners"

Topics about security are more helpful than this topic but Security-topics belong to Off-topic so why this one is still in Beginners & Help board?

No, but they are both westerners from my perspective.
I don't think that the debate should widen like that just because of the payment issue. You don't have to waste time to serve it, just say "your thoughts are right", or "you are absolutely right, I will try to move all the BTC balance from the burning address as your reward". Tongue

I have had this conversation sometime in the past, if we can go back to history, after the colonization of America by the British, a large number of then settled down there, they found the American people very receptive of their presence even after gaining independence and their way of lives are somehow similar even before colonization, so it was quite easy for them to integrate into the society.
So too me I sees them more like brothers, in ways of life and characteristics.

This is the same in my country but I don't think that's the way of saying it instead you may say that some are half or part european and half/part American. This is the same as me where I am part japanese, part indian and Filipino but it doesn't mean I am not a Filipino. Anyway, I do agree that this isn't the right board for this but in politics and society board which this topic us suited very well in that board hence the name.

OP, you are now a senior member and you should know the right board where this your topic fits in and not on this board, or is it compulsory that everyone must see your thread? You should move your thread to Politics and society board. Because Hamppuz paid late today which is always once in a million time that was why you created a thread for this. Common, you can use google to know about this.

It is true that Americans were colonized by the British but that doesn't make an American a British person, the two countries are different from origin, it was just a matter of colonialism that connected both countries.
OP, is talking about Europe and not only British but you are talking about British. I know that British is in Europe continent but not all Europeans are British, because we still have so many countries in Europe. America is not Europe. Their time zones also differ.

Well I think this should be a course for concern  as I was discussing with a friend about the delay in payment for rollbit dual arena signature which is never so as the manager @Hhampuz is a well known manager over years and he has also stood out to be one of the fast paying manager as he pays promptly and then the origin of@Hhampuz came up when someone said he was America and immediately I corrected him and told him that he wasn’t American but rather European and he then insisted that, both the American are Europeans and I felt the argument was a really heated one and below are some few screenshots from the chats

I would appreciate opinions from the Americans and the Europeans as I would want to hear from the horses moutt if the Americans are also Europeans or not

:. I don’t know if this is the right board for me to bring this but I think it will get more visibility over here but if not I will be glad if someone points the right board to me so I can move it or if I’m late, the moderators can help move it to the right board

Meanwhile @Hhampuz is European.
