Eth markets (like EtherDelta and other future eth-only exchanges) have one advantage over bitcoin: cheaper and faster transaction fees, meaning you can deposit and withdraw your coins much faster, in case you see a trade you want to make you still have time to deposit and do it, whereas with bitcoin it would take too long.

The only advantage I see is when you own eth and want something else traded in eth you don't pay exchange fees twice. Of course it doesn't matter when your position costs 100$, but when you wannt to rearrange 10 000 USD it matters.
What do you mean about where must not pay the exchange fees? a lot of people are knowing about the ethereum mostly traded on the regular exchange site which we must pay the fees for every withdrawal and transaction and if we are using the etherdelta and all of our activity will need the gas as fee.
I mean you must not pay exchange fees TWICE. As I wrote it if you have ETH you don't need to sell it for BTC and then to alts. You buy alts for eth at once. Of course it helps only for alts that are traded via eth.

What is too expensive? You don't have to buy a whole Bitcoin just like you don't have to buy a whole gold bar.

I want to enter the market right now...i see btc on ATH and dont want to buy the top...now i asked myself which advantages it will have to buy ETH with fiat and then get in via ETH Markets...like ETH/SC...or is this just the same as buying BTC? Are the coins that i buy with ETH bounded to the ETH Market or can i easily sell for BTC...Its new to me and i never traded this before...only want to know if there is a difference...Thanks!!!

I see that ethereum is a very promising altcoin for now as it was an overall lead of all altcoins. If bitcoin value will continue to soar high the disadvantage of this will be more small time investors will not afford to purchase bitcoin anymore because of the very expensive price resulting to they might shift their interest to altcoin in which ethereum will be the top choice because not only it was cheaper to purchase but the ethereum platform is now most commonly used by most ICO in which it will make ethereum more popular.

some exchanges like etherdelta and hitbtc uses eth pairing . i guess the purpose of this is mainly for tokens and altcoins to avoid high trading fees though i think its still the same when you convert your eth to btc youll also get the same value, so  nothing so special about this feature.  yet if you want to buy bitcoins or etherium then buy it directly using fiat to save yourself from hassel.

The disatvantage is that there is less liquidity in such markets.

Yes! you are right, ETH Ethereum is the second good Blockchain as of this moment. It holds the highest value of all Altcoins so there's no other reason why we don't invest ETH as soon as possible and while it's early.
The advantage of trading ETH is you can buy a little higher value but the profit would definitely high as months pass by.
I have ETH coins since July but I hold it for more few months and wait a little longer.

If you consider ETH to be a more stable crypto than Bitcoin right now, then yes that would be an advantage. But basically you need to understand if you buy an alt, you are shorting the pair. E.g. if you buy alt/btc then you are shorting Bitcoin. If you buy alt/eth, then you are shorting Ethereum. So if you THINK ETH is stable or will fall, go ahead. If you feel ETH will head up, then you should not trade on eth markets.

Another disadvantage is that 99% of alts are for sure traded on BTC pair. ETH is catching up but I believe is not even close to covering 50% of all available alts.

I only make trades with Poloniex but there are other exchange site like Bitrex, Cryptopia, or hitbtc you can choose from wherever you would prefer, and in Poloniex you can simply buy ETH with BTC, and yes you can not make any transaction with Ethereum right now but you are just buying other Cryptocurrency so you can trade with it and with other Coins, but I think just trade with what you feel you can profit or you can simply choose from certain top Cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Dash and so on...

As i know there is not any advantage if you buy eth to use in exchanges. Same as you buy with btc. And i prefer btc because there is not possible to use ethereum to buy other altcoins in many exchanges.
