I checked out Mist here

Game items as NFT's are an interesting way to go. I was wondering about that after a digital copy of Nyan Cat sold as an NFT.

I can recommend you Plants vs Undead. It is a promising game as it is built like a copy of Plants Vs Zombie (a popular mobile game). So you need to buy land, grow plants. You need about 60$ to enter the game. The game will pay off in 3-5 days. Also this game has a big community that is growing every day. If you don’t want to play, you can try to invest in their native token PVU.

That does look kinda cute (for myself). My concern for this one would be investing money and time only to have it ended because of copyright infringements.
I perused the white paper and didn't see any reference to it.

                                                                                                  I'm not interested in ICOs

I'm interested in staking my daughter who has played Final Fantasy for over 15 years and is a League of Legends junkie.

I'm asking because I saw a coin called "My Neighbor Alice" and that's probably not one I'd chose because it is going to have to be good enough for her to want to play but I've seen a few articles indicating that a decent crypto MMO/RPG might be near.

Also don't waste time in "general warnings against this type of investment"---"Video game money" is what interested me in bitcoin in the first place.

How do they work?

Proof of stake and then ...you "mine" by playing?

Lots of new games are currently starting to be launched, by giving coins or tokens, in general we can see with the developments they have developed from before, now crypto has been affiliated with various new projects that are starting to emerge.

NFT started offering games with token or coin prizes, this is a step forward that they are starting to develop, considering that many from outside the crypto community are not interested in joining if the game is not developed and provided here, maybe you can try it.

I know that blockchain games are being built on NEAR protocol now. They will probably be integrated with play3d.games.

Wow guys more responses than I was prepared for... Thank you!

Maybe another question to along with it would be: what type of video games do you already play and how do they compare?

I’m thinking to get one each for my daughter and her boyfriend so they can still play together.

^.^   Ha ilovealtcoins, I’m already already a sucker for the name "Vulcan" verse and the idea of developing land, it’s probably not her thing but I might check it out for myself.

^.=  I agree with you Ampu---long over due

O.o  Cryptoadditchie  a video game with “guild” as part of the name is one I’ll look out for

:-(  Oh No Asriloni that is a bummer to get robbed in the game---sorry that happened to you.

Yes the “pay to win” is one of the inspirations for wanting her to get paid to play, I’ve spent plenty a bitcoin to get her riot points and of course her teen years in FF went on my credit card.

Been playing mir4 for a while and I would like to call it as pay to win game rather than play to earn game. You can get robbed easily when you were away from your keyboard and you can also lose all of your XP instantly caused by others were robbing your character. This is not a good game to be played.

I have some NFT game list that will come and this time I'm still playing some like VV, AXIE, mydefipet.

I will try to mention some that is really worth to take a look but these games are still in the development.

- Staratlas
- Embersword - maybe you will be interested with this one
- Mist
- WilderWolrd
These games were MMORPG

My best suggestion is Guild of Guardian, however they are not out yet for playing. This will be one of the best game in blockchain as they show tremendous potential during preparations. I can say that your money worth a lot when you play or invest on this. For gamers enjoyment is one thing and the profits are just bonus. I really think that there are many games out there but you need to make sure you are on the right game and not a pump and dump game scheme.

The world has changed, and MMORPG games are trending when combined with crypto. I have seen many people become a good income by playing games. If you have the skills, join the game that you have studied thoroughly. The most recent examples are Axie, Crypto Blaze, My Neighbor Alice and more game that has helped many people earn money. Pandemic is happening, so gaming is the way everyone is doing it, especially blockchain games.

Vulcan Verse is an MMORPG that you will want to get into. The game allows players to build on their land and make money from it. Also, the game provides players with no land by participating in PVE combat and getting in-game items.
They will launch monetization for landless people in September. I hope you will learn a little about this project. I've been following it for a while and found it well worth a try.
