That makes DOGE, by every definition, a top meme coin. It's certainly set the bar high, but it is kind of awesome to see other coins like Neirocto try to ride that coattail. Their whole thing about being "connected" to DOGE definitely sparks attention and makes people excited about community.

As the crypto space evolves more and more frequently these days, it is not surprising to see new waves of tokens popping up. They get more attention lately however. So there is a potential trend developing here, or perhaps this is just a flash in the pan. It also makes one wonder if these new coins can develop their own identity or are just free-riding off the coattails of DOGE.

I would just put PEPE near the DOGE and end it there.
Those two are the biggest out there, so if you would try to compete with them - you would probably loose just due to their sheer cap and credibility for being there for so long.

If you wanna compares to other any MEME coins with DOGE, it will be SHIBA INU, it’s the next DOGE and it will be only competitor of DOGE coin not PEPE is near to DOGE, because DOGE's marketcap is over $18b and SHIBA $9b then PEPE is only $4b, so which one is close to DOGE? but i have no doubt PEPE is good meme coin after DOGE & SHIBA.

Yes, it has lost its power to gain 100x - 1000x, but they have a special place in their current position, because Shiba Inu (SHIB) has entered the ranks of altcoins with high MC, which means the fluctuations are not so terrible if someone wants to invest in it. Unlike the altcoins you just mentioned, they have a lot of risks, I'm not one to dive too deep into memecoins, so I'll skip them.

Maybe lower cap is why they listed it, easier to grab a larger percent of it all themselves before listing it and easier for their listing of it to increase the value of their bag of it...

Afterall why make an exchange and list coins if not holding the coins you intend to list?

well that's how it is with these new memes, the thing is, those meme investors just don't care about the fundamental of the coin, what they care is just whether the coin is hype or not, which is kinda fair if they just want to ride the train and get out before the trend fades.

neiro meme coin trend is also crazy, so many self proclaimed meme developer are deploying token with name neiro left and right making people confused, if you see in dexscreener, there are so many meme coin with the name neiro and $NEIRO ticker, even binance listing this one neiro coin is so out of expectation, because there's two popular $NEIRO ticker in ethereum blockchain, and binance listed the one with lesser market cap Grin

, well until it got listed in binance then the mcap shoots up.

We have Pepe, Shiba inu and babydoge, although they were not more popular than Dogecoin but they are very popular coin that people actually believe that they would make a lot profit but some people didn't make much profit from it and some people also made a good amount of profit Pepe and Shiba inu.

The heir to doge cmon. How many coins claim to be the bitcoin replacement. The team says that so people will buy their useless coins or tokens. No I don't think long term there will be a memecoin more popular. And no I don't think this is some sort of memecoin revolution. It's just a bunch of greedy people chasing 2021 profits who will likely end up broke at the end of all of this.

Ever since Dogs coin get listed on the first exchange it value have been on a steady decrease which is somewhat not so interesting for such hyped coin, I thought that the coin will build some positive momentum when it get listed because of the level of the excitement prior to dogs listening in exchange.

I participated in the airdrop not expecting much of it. I knew, just like any other memecoin project, that its chances of surviving in the long run is low however with its hype and the community it has built I was fairly sure that when it gets listed I can get some good profit. But then when it got listed, its price didn’t even reach close to what a lot of us expected.

I saw one that look similar with doge. Like others said dogs but there's another one that was added recently on Binance and became top trending this week they call it Neiro. Better check this on coingecko from this link below.

Well, Dogecoin is basically the OG memecoin. It kicked off the whole memecoin craze when it launched way back as a joke based on the Doge meme. So naturally its got a leg up popularity-wise compared to the memecoin newcomers.

SHIB seems like the closest competitor and the whole Shiba Inu coin concept clearly tried to emulate Doge's success formula - base it on a viral dog meme then get some celebs like Musk to tweet about it. Shiba Inus price went through the roof in 2021 when it caught on. Still doesnt have quite the level of widespread fame as Dogecoin. I dunno, are any other memecoins even approaching Doge status? Theres so many now its kinda hard to keep track. But Doge's first mover advantage and Elon Musk fanbase connection seems tough to beat.

Not financial advice whatsoever, but the closest coin have I seen in this market to be a direct competition to Doge is Shiba Inu, mostly because the good liquidity and acceptance it has gathered around both exchanges and casinos. Otherwise, I have not seen other memecoins to go as far as Dogecoin has and I am not expecting any to do so, honestly...
Dogecoin has a long track record and proven history when comes to its functionality, low transaction fees, hashrate and passion within it's community. The latter is the most important thing, by the way, community passion is what keeps memecoins alive and since latest memecoins are not even about passion and fun anymore, but rather about making money out of investors, Dogecoin will continue to be the king of memecoins for years to come. I am pretty sure about it.

Although DOGS listed all of the major exchanges, coinbase going to list delay but if right now bearish market, it’s difficult to predict how much significant impact in price after listing coinbase. It is true that the price of DOGS is still very cheap, but I will not buy it to add to the amount I have because I am still hesitant to spend money on it. but I will still hold it with the amount I have now until an undetermined time

I don't think that it should be the title of it. No other memecoin that's unpopular nor unfamiliar can be next to Dogecoin. Most memecoin investors are only choosing a few of it that can get close to it, shiba inu, pepe, dogwifhat, what else that are common?

We've got a lot of meme coins in different chains, like what has been on the trend are with the solana meme coins. And this time, we've got the meme coins from the ton network, notcoin, dogs and there are many more coming to the market once the tge of these memecoins are done. But if you'd ask if I'll be interested to invest on all of them? not all but I am still thinking if I'd buy some dogs.
