Seriously?  You were a DirectBet reg?  They had like the worst odds available.  Lol.

Anyway, in Peeps' post are your best choices.  Go send a request for the features you want.  And hope to be heard...  That's what I do.  Wink

Obviously I was, and I still am. I would definitely want to play at DirectBet if they ever make a comeback, did you ever play there? On what basis are you saying that their odds were worst? I've never had any issues whatsoever you are trying to describe here and I'm a big fan of them just because of their on-chain ability to settle the transactions almost immediately.

OP is asking about on-chain... which means, everything is wagered and settled with on-chain transactions (as he says, the model of DirectBet.eu which closed down).

To my knowledge, the only one doing this now is onehash, but they're more like a marketplace. So instead of betting with the bookie, you're taking offers made by others. Bets are settled on-chain, though. You deposit the wager, and provide an address to get your winnings once settled. They don't keep balances on account, but of course, if you're a market maker, then your deposits stay until someone accepts your offer(s).

Does it mean that when a bet is opened by me, it needs to be picked up by someone to bet against me for the competition to begin? And what happens if the match ends (as if I go for a sports related bet)? Will my bet go void and I'll get back my coins? Chances here are, I'll probably never get the bet of my choice if going to pick a wager myself out of the already provided bets by users there.

I don't like options C and D especially option D with 1xbit.com  included in the option d list which have so many scam accusations and complaints from people regarding their bitcoin stored in their site and also experienced withdrawal problems.

I personally used only Sportsbet.io a few times and i dont know why it is rated as D. I used it only with small amounts of money(10$-50$) and didnt had any problem with deposits and withdrawls. They also dont ask you for KYC, you only have to verify your email. I am not trying to promote the website, i just wanted to share my experience because some people may think the website is horrible because its rated as a D here.

Sharing your experience is OK, but at least you should give a close answer to what is being asked by OP. The main question is about on chain sports betting but you share your experience on off chain sports betting site.
On chain sports betting is not developed very well since the end of Directbet, no sites tried to make something similar to what Directbet had long time ago.I also wonder why no sites try to offer something like Directbet as it would be a big advantage to bring Directbet's fans to come.
The only available on chain sports betting site at the moment is Onehash IMO.

I think there are not that many that allows this with KYC so it seems like KYC is the main issue like people said and you can use many places like nitrogen to just gamble without giving any info, you can change the btc address you will withdraw and just keep it mixed forever without having to give any ID at all. Is the issue KYC here or On-chain ?

If on-chain I think onehash seems like the best option because you do not even register to get returns but if its KYC than nitrogen is by far the best place out there, those dudes have been running a legit sportsbook for years and I have not seen a single proper complaint about them (except couple of people who obviously didn't read the ToS on their website) so you can definitely go with them and never look back.

I agree with Pmalek about FortuneJack but I trully recommed you to read their T&C before joining it. Also I would recommend you to read some bitcointalk topics about their last changes in the commissions so you will not get surprised after joining

After watching cloudbet turning into scam by not paying that winner, I think it is best to stay away from these sites and choose a site like DirectBet.

It was resolved at last. Though I get it that people want to avoid such casinos as they might do such things again.

Even I don't prefer C and D rated books as I'm myself having complaints for those websites, especially cloudbet.
Betcoin also had some issues due to which I stopped playing there. I have been a very old user of nitrogensports and I really like their simple site user interface and dynamic betting techniques. But still, I don't find a variety of bets available there as well as I like betting mostly when games are live and I think both of these A rated websites doesn't allow us to bet on live games with too much of variety which DirectBet used to give.

I get it why you are asking on-chain betting sites but I feel that you are asking this mainly due to KYC issues. If that is so then here is a sportsbook : Coinbet24.com on which I have played many times and haven't been asked for verifying once.

Though it has some withdrawal restrictions but I really don't find myself worrying about that. They have a certain time frame within which they will be able to process withdrawal and every users is allowed only 1 withdraw/day. Less than 10 mbtc withdrawal cuts 0.1 mbtc from the amount otherwise they pay the withdrawal fee.

They also allow betting on live games but certain game events which are not much popular has less options to bet on.

I didn't know that there are so many bookers and websites that offer cryptocurrency betting.
What puzzles me, is that all the odds are "translated" to Bitcoin thus I find a difficulty in understanding if the odd is good or bad. I usually play value bets. Is there any way that it can make me understand the concept better?
What do you mean by odds are translated to Bitcoin? You only need to look for the decimal/american odds of each sportsbook to compare which is good and bad. If you don't want to go through different sportsbooks listed above you can check this overview.

Doesn't onehash supports that ?
You send them money and give them your wallet and they send you the win ?
Onehash does have on chain betting but it's not worth the risk if you're placing bets larger than their average bet.

If you are looking for something similar to directbet, no there is no such sites anymore. The only on chain sports betting available in this bitcoin gambling industry is onehash as suggested by some other members already. The difference is that you need to put your btc address first you can generate the betting/deposit address while we could send our bet from our wallet directly at directbet.
I do misa them especially their regular promotions lol. They were one of the best sports betting sites although their odds were lower compared to other sites.

It is not in the traditional sportsbook realm because they are making it player versus player and that is a whole different than just regular sportsbook because odds change all the time and one odd you see while you bet will be different when the bet is closed and you will not get the bet you see but the bet there was after the bet closed so do not be shocked if you get less money than you anticipated however if you want onchain without registering and just want to send money and receive money they have that.

All you have to do is give them your bitcoin address first than they will generate a transfer address and you send money there and you wait for them to pay you after the game is over without no signup at all.

Lol. What on earth are you talking about? Directbet was one of the most popular betting sites several years ago and several polls in this forum can confirm that.

It was easily one of my favorite betting sites and no other current sportsbook comes close to the convenience offered by Directbet. Nitrogen is the next best alternative.

Dude Directbet was the best sports-betting website to have ever existed in the gambling scene! Even though they had the most simple user interface but in terms of usability and transactions, they were far ahead of time as compared to sports-betting websites we have today. Like who cares about the odds when the withdrawal takes months to process?

FortuneJack started its Sportsbook service a few weeks ago and you can bet on matches Live-In-Play. If you want take a look at the offer here: https://fortunejack.com/sportsbook#/live/overview
It reminds me of bet365.

I used to be a fan of DirectBet where I was referred to by my friend. It was so easy there to place a bet and get it graded immediately after winning/losing it and getting our funds directly into the wallet. I don't really want that account making and KYC issues, need to know if there are any more genuine on-chain sportsbetting websites currently available? After watching cloudbet turning into scam by not paying that winner, I think it is best to stay away from these sites and choose a site like DirectBet.

The top 3 books rarely ask for KYC.

"A" and "B" books are recommended.

"A" rated books

nitrogensports.eu A+ (2013)
betcoin.ag A (2013)

"B"rated books
bitcoinrush.io B+ (2013)

"C" rated books
mBet.io C+ (2017)
anonibet.com  C- (2011)
jetwin.ps C- (2013)

"D" rated books
cloudbet.com D+ (2013)
coinbet24.com D+ (2015)
1xbit.com D (2016)
sportsbet.io D- (2016)
