Sure why not, it's your own thread anways. You can do whatever size you want as long as it is important and relevant with the topic. However there are few members (mostly the mobile users) that complaint due to large pictures. They're having a hard time zooming in and zooming out the page, they also hate it because it makes their phone lag. Resizing an image is not a thing you ought to do, but it can be a sign of being considerate to others
