I would say this belongs a little bit to scam accusations topic and not gambling discussions. The problem is that we should definitely be not ignoring the current situation and yet we are not really caring about it enough to make any deductions at this topic, I could say that OP is right, I could say that Stake is right and nothing would change here.

However, if there is a topic about this at scam accusations, that would be a serious allegation and in that regard we are going to end up with seeing what the result will be and all the situation and responses will matter. This should be important because we are going to end up with a much better result eventually. Life is not that simple and we can't just assume some strangers online could help us, plus Stake is a 100+ million dollar company, and they would rather not have any accusations as well, so if there is actually something wrong, a proper topic would help OP get attention enough for a response.

I already did a scam accusation and they don’t respond.

First of all, don't use offensive language when you are making a complaint. That won't get you anywhere.
Second, this is an Esports game, I don't think they are giving away the winnings once the game is completely settled, unlike Live Sports.
But, I do feel you here and I did read the answer of Stake.com with your complaints.
They provided an answer and it's difficult to go against the Terms of Service just like what they emailed you. They have the right to void it especially if the game won't be completed.

Maybe we should hear more about those who bet on Esports too if these kinds of bets do normally happen to them. Because if that was the case then you should just forget about it. Although I do believe that Stake.com should make it clear to you, the difference between Esports and Sports betting when it comes to betting per quarter or per half, so that this case could be closed. Try asking nicely.

Offensive language? Where did I use offensive language?

Mate, the first half was played and completed without issue which means my bets were winning bets. There’s NOTHING in their terms of service that indicate otherwise.

Maybe @danherbias07 was not pleased with the word "scammed". You need to go through all the relevant channels to reclaim your funds and if they fail, you can call it a scam. And scam all accusations should be on another board.

It's a tough call but I would say the wording is a bit ambiguous.
Has the match been rescheduled? With this : https://ibb.co/FVSfwY9   it would seem that they would void the bet and wait for the new match.

But, and this is a big but, what you posted was just a snip of the T&C. Is there something buried in there that for any bet to be paid the match must finish according to the rules.
I could see something like that being in there.

*I am US based so can only see the T&C for here (stake.us) so I don't know if stake.com is different.

Nope, I don’t see anything in their terms and conditions or sports rules that indicates I shouldn’t be paid.

Also, the match was never rescheduled because they play each other 20 times a day lol

The solution to this problem is very simple. The Stake representative should just show @Patriots89 the portion of the terms of services that states that every unfinished match is cancelled/void. If it is true that such a game is void the OP should be treated based on the provision of the TOS. But the OP should get his total win if it states otherwise.

On soccer (not esports) that bet on the 1st half must be settled already.
However there is a chance the bet like that wont be settled either if fraud suspected (fixed match) or the bet was won due to technical fault during the event.

Any site will write about it on their ToS, because of that they have the right to void the bet. Well if you still insist to continue the case, maybe askgambler is the only option for you now.
Well, I hope everything will be solved ASAP and win win solution for both party.

Bet was placed before the match and there’s no “fraud”. I don’t even see any technical issues, the players literally quit the game towards the end of the match. However, my bets had already won at that point.

In my eyes, stake has scammed me. I won fair and square. Also my first time betting esports or fifa.

If you think you're scammed OP and have enough evidence to prove that then you're free to go ahead to the scam accusation to lodge your report, follow the normal procedure and format, there are challenges you may be encountering with using a gambling platform but also consider yourself as not being a violator of their rules, then considering the platform involved, have you make every other necessary procedures to communicate their feedback.

I’ve tried mate, they just ignore it. It’s extremely said because I’m a big customer and I feel I was literally robbed blindly.

My only hope at this point is to try and find someone from stake on these forums and have them check the bet thoroughly because support and my vip host are useless.

The problem on Stake ToS and probably most of sportbook was all the bets made on the specific game that is not finish due to certain reason is marked as cancelled/void since the bets will not be settled unless the game finish.

This is both good and bad for those players that potentially lose or win their bet. Stake will  surely pay you if this is not stated on their ToS. In the eyes of observer, your bet is really a win but the rules of sportsbook will always govern no matter how unfair you think it is since you agree on it before you place your bet.

Was any reason given while your games were canceled? Were you sent any Gmail? Because from the look of things and the outcome of the two games you just shared @ Over 2.5, it clearly shows that you won the two games, and ought to have been paid your due winning amount, instead of voiding the game.

https://talkimg.com/images/2023/11/02/tSEGN.jpeg

https://talkimg.com/images/2023/11/02/tSFe9.jpeg

But however, I think the Stake casino representative here on this forum should have a better answer to why your game was void after it was successfully submitted.

I totally agree with you! Once the first half is played and completed without issue, the bets should be paid instantly. What happens after that point in the match has not relevance to my bet. See, this is the thing, with the new fifa games, bets aren’t settled until the game is completed because it’s completely automated.

However, the problem here is, I’m not able to get someone from stake with common sense to actually investigate my bets and see that I won. They continue to refuse to watch the video when I clearly won.

I don’t complain when I lose but I shouldn’t have to chase my winnings when I do win.

This is a response I got from their “complaints team”

https://ibb.co/WDSYSZn

They also just avoid watching the video completely. They have also stated that their terms of service indicate they can do so but I don’t see that anywhere.

I'm guessing it's due to the paused/postponed esports rule because the match wasn't completed, and it was interrupted or stopped around 70' based on the YouTube VOD that OP linked.

I also think OP should've won that because, in other sportsbooks, they'll settle those total bets while the game is still live. Maybe their postponed rule has a higher priority over everything else and it's why his ticket got pushed in the end.

Goodnight, ohh Leo!!! 🦅
Hey everyone,

I have been betting sports for almost 20 years. I currently have what I believe to be an issue with two bets I made on the same match with stake.com. (Fifa match)
edit:
I didn't Understand those options you picked... atleast one of them, (Alicia), But I know too well that the option on overs with "Asian" doesn't seem to be predicted like the normal "over home/away goals" "either half" etc... Are you sure your prediction wasn't based on the Asian "overs" cus Obviously, Arsenal Played a 2-1 victory for the full time and that's clearly over 2.5 goals ... Although you staked for halftime which the result was 2:0
I can't conclude since I don't really know what option (Alicia) is... Is it even an option?? I dunno.

If the 1st half was played and at that point you won the bet, I would say you deserved to be paid. I however did not click the links for the rules and do no know Stake's policy on unfinished matches. Just giving my opinion on what I think should happen based on the events.

Hey everyone,

I have been betting sports for almost 20 years. I currently have what I believe to be an issue with two bets I made on the same match with stake.com. (Fifa match)

I truly believe that stake.com and their odds provider sports radar have completely scammed me for almost $10,000 but I would like opinions of other players before I look to take this further.

Please give me your honest opinion. I am not here to just hear what I want, I truly want to know what you would think in this situation and how it should be handled.

Please keep in mind that I have bet thousands of e sports matches and I have never seen this happen before. I would also like to mention that stake.com’a customer support 100% dislikes me so they refuse to even assist in any form.

Match was scheduled to start at 2:00am my time which means my bets were placed BEFORE the match.

Here are the two bets placed at 1:57am and 1:59am respectively. Both FIRST HALF bets.

https://ibb.co/VgsPBmB
https://ibb.co/ncRFNfP

If you are on stake.com, here are the BET IDS.

sport:110090760
sport:110090969

Here is proof of the score and live stream.

Proof of score and live stream - as you can see, the first half was played, without issue and completed with a score of 2-1 for Alicia.

https://ibb.co/BcBbVSq
https://ibb.co/pQW5k5F
https://ibb.co/FBNs1hf

Here is the OFFICIAL match video from the tournament.

https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4c0i8zyFBHk

If you watch the video, you will see that the girls randomly quit the game around the 70th minute when the score is 2-2

Here are the sports rules for stake.com for fifa and e sports

https://ibb.co/p1xvH57
https://ibb.co/0JXqqXx
https://ibb.co/FVSfwY9
https://ibb.co/L6VXJng

In my opinion, if this was a real soccer match, the first half bets would have been settled regardless if the game finished or not.

I think stake.com has slipped up here and this needs to get infront of the eyes of an experienced sports guy from stake.com.
