No. I am intellectually superior to most human beings that's why I always see through things.

I always have my own opinion because I can see things others cannot.

Do you actually think that someone who is not independent would actually be capable of exerting enough self-awareness to realize their existence as a part of "the crowd"?

 Cheesy  Cheesy

Yes, there would be at least a small % of people who know they need to be more brave, great answer though, thanks for the mini-lol.
I don't think I've ever met such a person. Most people are part of the crowd and wouldn't even realize it if you spelt it out for them.

Then there are a few who realize in much more detail what is going on in this world, but as soon as they do they usually stop caring about the games of "the crowd".

I have yet to meet someone who realizes that the crowd is a thing that hasn't pretty much instantly broken off of that way of living life.

Which is actually surprising. I'm sure there are some people who realize it and would still play along. Not like there's a problem with that after all.

I am both. Because in order for me to be independent on something i still needed to depend on others too. I believe in, No man is an island.

How do you know?
When is the last time you tried something different, without waiting to see if others are already responding?
We are all dependent on someone, but we can be independent in our thoughts and statements. So our whole life passes in society, then we can not get rid of him in any way.

personally i hate hive mind consensus thinking. U might as well be dead.
Seems to work well for bees, ants and other animals. It's not the kind of life that I would like to live either though. I much prefer analyzing all possible outcomes from different perspectives, even those that I don't like and then rethink situations once I gain more information a few weeks, months or even years later.

Both, but sometimes I am able to take a leap at something new, even when others are not.

Common: Accepting the beliefs and behaviors embedded in the status quo as accurate “best,” “right,” and unchangeable.

Uncommon: There is immense value in being able to think and act independently in a world of conformity and convention – in fact, all innovation and novelty depend on it. It can be challenging to free ourselves from the explicit and implicit forces that keep our brain in the box, but that doesn’t mean it’s impossible.
