Hello everyone, my question is: how often do you invest in new and young projects? Aren't you afraid of losing money if the project closes?

I want to invest in a promising project called Metaplace.finance. Their token sale starts on 21st Dec and I think this is a good opportunity to successfully invest money.

If anyone have any idea about this project kindly share your thoughts. Maybe you have some interesting cases on this matter.

Everyone is afraid of losing money if the project closes. New projects often have high risks, but it can also bring huge returns to investors, we need to take risks. However, do not invest blindly, learn carefully the elements of that project such as development team, roadmap, product. If you judge everything okay and right for you, you can make a decision but remember one thing, there is always a risk in the crypto market.

It will be very hard to double your money with top altcoins this is why I prefer new coins, all you need to do is join them very sooner than other investors, with just 500,000$ Marketcap you would have make Insane amount of money already but do very strict research first to avoid losing your money

If you are just looking for a quick profit, indeed new coins will be very interesting to buy. But it must be considered to exit when it reaches the expected profit target. Holding on too long isn't good either, as some new coins just gone in a matter of minutes. It is not recommended to hold for long time, especially for meme tokens. except you see their potential.

Of course, only by investing in new projects can we get big profits, nowadays it is almost difficult to get 50% profit in a month if we invest bitcoin, ethereum or BNB, but by investing in new projects, it is easy for us to profit up to 100% and even more in a month .

Investing here is too risky I believe investing in the top coins has a definite advantage of the scale of capital owned. And its potential is also more visible than a new project. But, if you are an analyst you certainly understand very well about coin research. Great profits await you. Take the risks of each.

To see new projects that have potentials is going to believe worth trying, though. I don't say NO but have to risk some, who knows if we got lucky in this and besides, we are risking investing even in the old coins. But of course, just invest only the amount that we can afford to lose as investing them have less to nothing assurance that we gain a profit.
However, it was a need for us to do research first before investing in them. Never invest in any projects if you fail to do this or else, you will just lose.
Exactly! That's how most of the people nowadays tend to lose specially novices or newbies, what happened was they didn't make their own assignment to gain some knowledge and to see what's their vision. In-fact they're just following on someones footstep that's why most of them fail. It's very dangerous to invest in something blindly, instead of gaining profits, they lose their precious funds more.
That's why getting a research first then having some 2nd opinion is really needed.

Skyrocketing prices certainly tempt newcomers, but you must be aware of the risks before jumping in.
You have to understand the state of the project, before falling victim to a scam.
And if you are sure about the project, just go for it.

I am not suggesting you invest in new projects and it is better to search for other projects. If you want to gamble with your money, you are free to do it, but you should know the risk before investing in that project. Many other projects could be your investment instead of getting involved in the new projects. If the price is still below $0.00000x, you can try to spend some small money investing with them. But if the price is at $0.0x, I don't think it is worth investing in that project.

not all new projects are scams, but we should be able to analyze them well. Many people find it difficult to analyze. For me personally, because I am not good at analyzing, I do not invest in new projects, because I am personally still afraid to invest in high risks. I prefer to invest in coins that are at the top

Investing in new projects is certainly often done because not all new projects are scam, but before participating in a new project we have to make research first so that we do not get caught up in scam projects, but currently there are many new projects that we can rely on to invest because with a team that works well then the project we follow will definitely be successful, And we also have to look at the whiterepaper of a project that we want to follow because it is also very important.

Every new project still needs time to develop, we have to see the progress they make gradually whether it's convincing for investment, I'm not interested in a new project that appears without the support of the big market because investing in a new project is a high risk.

Of course, investing in a new project is a big risk, but the higher the risk, the greater the profit. If someone can analyze the project well, is aware of what is happening on the cryptocurrency market, the project developers are experienced people who can be trusted, then this risk is greatly reduced. Obviously, for those who have little experience it is like playing in a casino, so better not try it.

I invest exclusively in those projects that I find interesting, but as practice shows, when there is a lot of information, the price of a token may already be overstated. Therefore, you often have to choose by touch, without seeing the project. Often the risks associated with the invisible part of the project, and play the role of deception, or it can actually bring profit.

I'm also just trying to invest in these new projects but I can see that the work team on the project is also good and painstaking even though inside I'm also afraid, but it all starts with our intentions and our beliefs if we don't try it now when will we?
Hopefully I will be able to make a profit for me at the end of the project.

When my portfolio goes down then I think that i should invest in new project for high and quick returns but i have not invest till yet. In my search no coin will go up after their ico because shares always takes time to go big. In crypto we can have some sentiment to go at any coin but that can cause big loss. So i don't invest in new projects because of big risk.

In my opinion, it is investing in new projects that gives the highest profits. Of course, this involves a much greater risk than investing in stable projects that have been on the market for years. However, part of the money can be invested in Bitcoin and Ethereum and the other part in new projects.

Initial Coin Offering (ICO) is an alternative tool for raising money based on new digital cryptocurrencies that have outside of traditional financial systems. It has recently exploded in popularity to become a major source of capital for start-ups.
e.g. Two emerging startups, Filecoin and Tezos currently have the largest coin offerings to date with $257 Million and $232 Million.

New projects are the place to take big profits but I think it's very difficult when one is not able to choose a quality new project that can give him an advantage because so many new projects are popping up and only a few are successful.
I myself have done it before and failed to take advantage so now I decided not to do it again.
I think it's very risky to lose money.

In my opinion profit and loss have become commonplace in the world of good sales in the crypto world.
like now many of them choose to invest in projects even though the risk is also big if the project fails look forward to it and not only choose the trading world but if they are lucky they will still make big profits in the end and I have also tried to invest in projects in the past and thank God I was lucky because the project was a success.

I invested only a few times in new and young projects, because I do not believe in these new projects, most of them are striving to make quick profit and then they leave everything behind, there are only a few important projects that have a real project and a clear business plan and seek to develop constantly so you have to Do a lot of research before getting involved in any project.
Of course, there is always a fear of losing your money in any new project, so you should not risk the capital that you can afford to lose, do not risk a large amount and advice if you achieve some profits, take your profits and do not covet because greed can lead to the loss of all your money because I saw a lot of coins Projects get very expensive at first and then start to collapse.

Never be afraid to work in cryptocurrency.  Never back down.  Both profit and loss and you have to adapt yourself. If you work in this way, you will see something in the middle of profit and loss. This is how you will see a good success one day.

Not fully investing in IDO and TGE is profitable, because of the delay in token distribution, very long token vesting, like 200 days, there is a lot of risk and profit, because some investors want quick profits, after tokens are registered and distribution starts, then they will sell them and do trade. But unlike the coins listed on the launch pad of Binance, Kucoin and the list of top 5 exchanges, I believe investors will Hodl and sell some coins to trade

investing in a new project has a very high risk, but I would recommend a project that has an experienced development team or manager, has a large community, high trading volume, and most importantly has been listed on several excanges, if there is a project new that has the criteria like that then I do not hesitate to invest with them,

Hello everyone, my question is: how often do you invest in new and young projects? Aren't you afraid of losing money if the project closes?

Am also afraid of losing money each time I buy new tokens in the market and that is because most new projects may end up as disappointment. And the ones I bought a few months ago have been down. I regret buying them. My plan now is to avoid buying anything again until next year to see if the market will become favourable to me then.

What you are trying to implement here don't be afraid to lose? This is unorthodox thinking and no one will ever agree to this. Fear is normal when losing. Its our natural way of self defense to avoid risk so thats good for starter on minimizing risk. If you didn't fear to lose, You might invest on many scam project since you don't care losing.

Maybe what you are trying to say here is to invest only what you can afford to lose so that you will not regret when you lose.
Not fearing to lose and not being overconfident are two very different things. Being careful with your investment and researching every single thing before you do will be the most important part of your crypto journey.

You should never invest into stuff just you want to and being care free is very risky in crypto since you could literally lose all you have. But, fearing to lose money is also limiting your ability to make a profit as well. If you keep on trying to limit yourself and only invest into things that are near guaranteed (nothing is guaranteed fully) then you will only buy bitcoin and hold it for years and do nothing else.

So, you need to be fearless but also smart about your investments, there is no two radical sides of this, you need to find that middle ground where you could make some profit with whatever you have. This way you will not fear of losing money, but you will also be investing into smart projects with good futures.

my question is: how often do you invest in new and young projects? Aren't you afraid of losing money if the project closes?
Ever since I became part of the cryptocurrency community I have not invested in any new project at all, maybe because I don’t really search for them or I’m just not interested. But, if you’re investing in a new project, of course you’re going to be afraid of losing your money because you’re not yet hundred percent on whether they are going to work out or not. You’re just betting your money on something that you’re not yet sure about.

But, I don’t think it’s bad, although there are many fake projects and unserious developers these days. Even the best projects that we have today were once new in the market and nobody knew for sure whether they are going to reach the level that they have reached today. So you can still go ahead and invest in any new project you find if it passes your originality test or requirements for knowing a good projects.

Hello everyone, my question is: how often do you invest in new and young projects? Aren't you afraid of losing money if the project closes?

Usually, i participated into the public of any projects which are having great partnerships and backing from top capital farm. So it'll be best to participate into those projects which are doing their ido/igo on well-known ido platform. If anyone wanna take risk, than try to participate into the staking pool for guaranteed allocation, else participate into public whitelist with own luck for allocation. Talking about losing money, there is always risk for investing into projects, so hope for good and prepare for the worst situation, IMHO.

New projects are always promising, I think to be able to get big profits we must dare to invest in new projects, as long as we can be careful that it is not a scam project then we can be sure we will get big profits even though we have to wait.
investing in new projects has a greater risk. But that doesn't mean it won't be profitable. even a lot of people who are successful in this year's new project.
but it all depends on everyone's ability to analyze new projects. because the difficulty may be greater than choosing a project that already has a market and has been around for a long time.
most importantly, don't just follow other people in investing in new projects.

I want to invest new projects but it depends if they're very optimistic and all the fundamental and technical are positive because for that reason you can assure there's a good profits after all.. But without enough data its very skeptical to be honest. Wherein you don't know how long it will take for you to get good return if it's not scam or not as well.. Very unpredictable in my opinion to be honest, unless if the project is listed already in any exchanges and had good feedback because for sure it's legit..
Even though it has been registered on the exchange, there is always be scam if the project is not running well according to the roadmap because the developer or management is not running it properly to grow up their coin. Example of a meme coin there are many projects fail because it only focuses on pumps and dumps. Personally I always look for projects that are already going well by using technical analysis from several sources to invest my money in promising projects.

When deciding to get involved in cryptocurrency I try not to be afraid to lose money. This is important because cryptocurrencies are so volatile that we have to be prepared to deal with all kinds of complicated situations. If you are still afraid of losing money while trading, it seems that you are still not suitable to be here. You have to learn a lot to hold your emotions and have a strong mentality.

but it's not about being ready or not to accept whatever will happen in crypto, because trading profit and loss is common, but I think it's about recommending a new project whether it's worth investing in or not, because not all projects have the same potential , then studying and researching a project is very important, if we think the new project has good criteria, of course we will not be so disappointed if the project we choose fails. but at least we've tried to find the best.

But if I think that the project has a good chance to grow in the future and I get something from my research that shows the project is good, I will invest some money but not too big because they are still a new project that needs time to grow. Besides that, they can become scams anytime so I do not want to risk too big money to invest in that project. You need to research yourself to find if that project is good because we can not have the same result in the analysis.

Indeed, investing in new projects is a good opportunity to develop your capital, but it remains a great risk, as most new projects do not have an actual use, which makes them unsafe!?!!
Numerous factors should be taken into account before proceeding with the investment, such as the new project’s profitability, the new industry’s growth potential, market uncertainty and risk of high competition. With these aspects in mind it is possible to make a good decision for one's business!!
To avoid losses on new projects' investments; one should make sure that all these aspects are evaluated carefully before deciding whether to invest in them or not!!

From my part really I don't invest invest in new project because of some reason, most new project mostly start with either
+ Scam intentions
+ A trial purpose
+ Under Influnce
+ Taking advantage of successful project
And so much more we have seen so many projects like that and when they get what the want or don't get it the project is Left unattended to, right now it's becoming a big risk investing in new project.

So you create this account to promote metaplace? Or they hire someone to shill for their project. This isn't the right approach to promoting a project. However, it's become very difficult to invest in a project due to scams. Everyone just comes with a new project to raise some funds and settle their life. Doesn't have a real concept nor intend to improve the cryptocurrency industry. I really can't dare to invest in a new project. It's not time to take the risk with my funds. I know even if a project becomes a success then it will give a handsome ROI which would recover previously scammed funds. But I am not encouraged to do so.

Of course, I make new projects a prospect for long-term investment, hopefully there will be big projects like Crypto.com or AAVE that are now successful, by daring to invest in new projects, we have the opportunity to get big profits because the initial price of new projects is very cheap and there are opportunities to invest in new projects. we can get 1000x profit.

To be able to invest in new projects, you need to be able to do fundamental analysis well. From what I can see, you have no idea about it, so I advise you not to invest in new projects, because for you it's just a lottery. Read and learn first, then risk your money. Of course, you can ask on Bitcointalk as you do right now, but remember that this information may come from completely inexperienced people or from trolls.

This is the first time I read about the project, the project looks good but there is no link or a page about the team, this is a big concern especially since they do not have an announcement here, the concept is just too good to be true and we have no way of knowing if they are capable since we do not know the capability and past experiences of the developers because they are anonymous, I would not invest in this kind of project.

Buying new token right now become my main job, is just like trade but you buy before launch market launch so usually you can make x2 x100 depend on the project  Grin

but before you invest please considering to research and i recomendd to using launchpad rather than u buying on their website directly

Investment in new projects of course has a high level of risk as well with all the possibilities of taking huge profits. there is nothing wrong with choosing to invest in new or young projects, but what must be seen is the concept of the future and also a solid team as well as some things that must be learned first before deciding to invest in a new project because it is a big risk.
I used to try to invest in new projects and some of the ones I was involved in were not all successful until now I decided not to follow them anymore. maybe because of the lack of information and also the latest news updates, I'm a little afraid to invest in projects that I don't really follow. and currently I only choose to invest in top coins for the future.

Maybe not about Metaplace, but for new projects sometime yes. Because it is worth to try new project especially if we can participate in IDO which still trend for now. As long we use money that we wouldn't mad if we lose because the chance will still 50%/50% for profit or lose.

The metaverse project is currently getting a lot of hype, and if for the short term I think this project can be relied on, especially since the project's smart contracts are audited by Certik and SolidProof, two big-name platforms.

All projects start from new and with the process of traveling a project becomes successful and famous to all people because if you think about the risk of losing money in cryptocurrency, then anyone will be afraid of it, but if because of that everyone does nothing and just stays silent, then it is a mistake too in my opinion.

So when you say "Aren't you afraid of losing money if the project closes ?" in the opening paragraph while in the other paragraph you put money into a new project, so I have to ask you again now
Aren't you afraid of losing money if the project is closed?

I never invest in new projects, honestly. Many of them are outright scams, so you can easily lose everything you invested. Some will give you tokens that won't even make it to exchanges, so I'd also consider them scammers. Then there are those that get dumped immediately after making it to exchanges. Only a small amount survive long enough for you to return the invested money back to yourself or profit from it. I think investing in well-known projects is way safer and makes much more sense because you can be sure you won't get scammed, and you can reasonably expect the price to go back up even if you invest right before it drops significantly.

I think everyone here is a risk taker, you won't get profits if you don't participate on new projects.

But it really depends on individuals, as the saying goes, "DYOR", so you have to investigate about the projects that you are going to pour your money and then you need to have plan B to mitigate that risk. There are tons of subjects about this, so I suggest you search for it.

As far as you are shilling about this new project, obviously, as I have said, everyone should do their own research first. If they see that it is promising then maybe they would invest on it.

Well, it depends on how good the project is. if it's a promising project, I might invest there. however, if it was a project that wasn't very promising, I most likely wouldn't invest.
I am not so afraid of losing the money I have invested in, because I use money I can afford to lose. however, as much as possible, I try to follow only legitimate projects, so I don't lose my money. but if it's lost, well that's the risk.
never heard of Metaplace.finance before. You need to do some deep digging. maybe the points are team, concept, market, partnership, and others. make sure they are clear, and popular.

Not really.

I'm not afraid but I just don't have the taste to get into new projects. Because of what I know with many of them, they're not worth my time and money.

And most likely, many of them are bound to fail, that's what I think with most new projects. But I know that a few of them are likely to be one of the best in the future.

The early birds and pioneer investors to new and viable projects usually get the best from them. Because this projects are new, the developers/creators always do their best to make it enticing for people to come in. OP if you have identified a new project and your research not just intuition has  hinted the project that be good, then invest only what you can loose, it may become your testimony.

Would be much easier if you put here any more data. Not everyone wants to enter suspicious websites with a high risk of getting infected. Based on name only ... its 99% scam. I've seen houndrends of similar named projects - "lending, staking, farming" and of course "soon" are magic words that attract newbies that missed DEFI bubble. I bet this project use all of them. In my opinion ICO is way to soon to invest in anything in 2021. In 2015-2017 maybe ... not now. Now scammers are like steel factory. They have everything ready and tested. They change CSS code of website a little bit (1 day of work), whitepaper font and few sentences (1 day of work), pay shillers (2k$ for 1 week of spam everywhere) and telegram/twitter members boosters (100$), run ICO (100$), collect 5-10k$, exit scam, change CSS code of website a little bit (1 day of work), whitepaper font and few sentences (1 day of work), pay shillers (2k$ for 1 week of spam everywhere) and telegram/twitter members boosters (100$), run ICO (100$), collect 5-10k$, exit scam, They change CSS code of website a little bit (1 day of work), whitepaper font and few sentences (1 day of work), pay shillers (2k$ for 1 week of spam everywhere) and telegram/twitter members boosters (100$), run ICO (100$), collect 10k$, exit scam, change CSS code of website a little bit (1 day of work), whitepaper font and few sentences (1 day of work), pay shillers (2k$ for 1 week of spam everywhere) and telegram/twitter members boosters (100$), run ICO (100$), collect 5-10k$, exit scam.

This is part of a risky investment on crypto. Weren't sure whether the project would last for a long time. Sometimes a proejct gone after few months but make sure when you reach the profit status take out some capital so even if you hold some or the project gone rouge or what then your safe from a tragic loss.

New projects are where the real profits are, joining very early makes 10x possible for early investors, if you want to try any new project out make sure their utility is very very good and their team members are fully doxxed, you can use daomaker or velaspad
