Honestly, likely "no", but it depends.

It's more likely that I show resistance if the authorities starting to take away everything thing that makes life worth living.

If everything is gone and the authority starts slavery where I should get slaved, for example, why I should care about guns anymore?
It's a question how much I still can loose and how certain it is that the remaining life will be a shitty one.

And nobody should ever mess with me if ...
... I discover that I'm poisoned, ie. with Colchicine - in this example, there's no antidote available and with 100% certainly deathly within a few days
... get a cancer diagnosis which is already in the critical stage
...

I think a very important thing when showing resistance is not to harm anybody which is innocent.

Depends on how you fight it. If you fight it by harming innocent people, knowingly exposing people to risk esp against their will, violating people basic rights, etc, you would end up becoming as bad as people you are fighting.
You have to "fight" the right way

Everyone wants A change, but no one is able TO change.
Most people will reply that they are willing to risk their life in order to fight for justice but no one is going to do it in the end.

Are you ready to fight for justice and freedom even if the authorities and elites dictate different things to you and pass laws that restrict human freedoms?

Ask yourself, are you ready to protect your family with your life, the people around you?

Most people are sleeping now and will not do so. From here we have what we have now.

But everything can be changed. The more people wake up, the sooner this world will change for the better.
