i kind of agree, i haven't searched, there are so many alt clones, i'd think someone did this, but i think it is worthy of consideration

X per block for infinity
change the diff just to keep the block times consistent, ie retarget diff to keep x blocks per hour, whatever

if POS is good for bagholders, why not a guaranteed mine (not transaction) for miners , sure

Block rewards vary with coins. Many new coins bill themselves as 'fair' with 'no pre-mine', however more often than not a coin will have vastly enriching block rewards and block reward bonuses for the early miners of that coin. This is often proposed as a bonus for those who take the risk and time to mine the new coin in its early days or weeks, though its clearly just a scheme to get the developers and their friends as much coin as possible before the large miners jump on board the coin and make it virtually worthless for the small miners to mine.

So is this fair? Well I would argue that miners who are early adopters of the coin, benefit greatly as the low hashrate and difficulty ensure that they will accrue a large and healthy amount of coin in the first few days and weeks. To then, on top of this reward them with a massive block reward and bonus seems unduly fair. We can add to this that many coins announce their pre-ann just one or two days before the beginning phase of their coin launch – you have to be very lucky to spot some new coins and get your system ready in time to mine it.

Down the line as perhaps more people are interested in mining the coin, the coin difficulty has increased and the coin reward halved, causing a trickle effect on the coins distributed and possibly an increase in price, greatly rewarding the dev's and early adopters who speed mined the coin at the beginning.

The often found halving of block reward every 6 months or few years depending on coin, a system copied from bitcoin, is supposed to imitate nature in some way, but i'm not sure its necessary. Surely a consistent block reward to the end of the coins life is a fairer and better way to structure a coin?

My point is, as a miner you are rewarded for mining a coin early, so giving out higher block rewards is unnecessary from that stand point. As a coin develops and more miners jump onboard, it is all the more reason to have a higher block reward or at least a consistent block reward so that the coins are widely distributed about these larger pools of miners.
