Okay the ultimative error I did was pointing armory to the bitcoin-qt.exe instead to the bitcoind.exe

Another nice feature would be to import the bootstrap.dat over a menue instead of the command-line parameter.
The time to get all working is far long in my opinion as the way it is right now.

Armory Developer
You possibly installed BitcoinQt in a non default folder, in which case you have to point armory to the blockchain folder with the --satoshi-dir command line argument

ok I installed it now on a different machine and it works now...

well at least it's synchronizing now

Maybe it didn't like that i let the Bitcoin sync fist and then install Armory...

I read all the help pages I could find, but I couldn't get Armory out of the offline mode.

Environment:
- Windows 7 64-Bit
- Armory 0.9 Beta
- Bitcoin-QT 0.8.6.0 Beta (updated from 0.8.5.0 Beta)
- System-Time up to date
- Blockchain synchronized
- Machine Lenovo T420 i7 8GB Ram
- I made the "File","Settings" to specifiy where my Bitcoin Client is located
- All installations are default
- I restarted Armory and also tried "Skip online check at startup" no success

I tried to start the bitcoin client first, then Armory says I should close it.

Do you have any advice?
